This is a great little spot, very close to the trails and the beaches. Easy to access surrounding areas like Sintra and Cascais, whilst being quiet and tucked away. Luci and Charles are a wonderful couple, and very helpful during our stay.

Lovely apartment full of character in a very quiet part of the village. 20 minutes walk from the restaurants and close to Sintra and the beaches. Ricardo is a wonderful host and is very helpful. The garden is beautiful and quiet.

Ricardo! and everything about the apartment .. it is clean, spacious, has everything required for preparing meals, is close to the bus stop, a small supermarket and cafés/restaurants …the permaculture garden out the back is a lovely bonus to sit in and enjoy a meal or drink … Ricardo was the most helpful Host …. If the apartment was on Airbnb he’d be called a Super Super Host 😀. He has a lot of local knowledge that is so helpful and after 2 weeks of trying to resolve an issue with CTT re posting parcels outside Europe, with Ricardo’s assistance it was resolved with the local CTT very quickly … Thank you Ricardo! 🙏

This apartment was fantastic it is over 300 years old,very comfortable , you are situated in a little village on the side of a mountain with breathtaking views and friendly locals. The restaurant served amazing BBQ and the prices were excellent. The little Cafe/Bar attached to it was so much fun the wine was good and the people so nice. I am definitely going back. The owners were so nice and left us a few essentials like fruit bread milk butter coffee tea and more and helped us with whatever we needed. Such kind people!

Check in staff was awesome and helpful. Kitchen had some bread, tea etc. On-site laundry was nice. Parking on site.

We chose an apt NOT in Sintra (since parking within the city can be terrible). It is a nice village (still with many cars..), we had parking at the street, used the Supermarket in Colares. Very convenient apt for 2 people. (not sure how much for more, the 'leaving room' area is very small) Some shops and food-places are very near. We drove to Sintra (~10-15 min) and used a public parking lot. we used the washing machine, stove-top, kettle. Host was very helpful and responsive (we had issue with hot-water, which was fixed after a short time). We drove to 'Azenhas do Mar' (recommendation of Rita), but it was too cloudy to see the sun-set..

This stay was the best I had during my time in Portugal. Nice, self-contained unit with 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, dining and bathroom. Has pellet-burning heater to warm the unit. and a patio outside with chairs and table. Host Gabriela was very hospitable and made excellent recommendations of what to see in the area (sunset at Praia da Adraga was amazing!). Upon arrival she had provided bread, ham, cheese, honey and cookies which were all delicious and much appreciated! Was also nice to meet the dogs.
