The arrival greeting was warm and cheerful as was the Queen bedroom we had for two nights. The breakfast room was stunning and the fare stupendous and plentiful.

Le Huit er gististaður við ströndina í Fumögulega, 47 km frá Abbaye de Sept Fontaines-golfvellinum og 40 km frá Anseremme. Such a beautiful relaxing location right by the river. Beautiful home decor with that homely feel. The kitchen appliances are top quality. It was lovely having fresh breakfast but unless I’d previously read other peoples reviews I wouldn’t have known that I needed to go to the bakery ourselves to collect it. Certainly not a problem for us but having the information would have been handy.

Located in an idyllic rural setting on the shores of the Lac D'Orient in a regional nature reserve, these rustic cottages have been beautifully modernised and restored with sensitivity to their history. There's plenty to do and discover in the area. We chose to kick-back and relax. Watch the sunset over the lake from the comfort of your terrace or the local lakeside brasserie. The historic city of Troyes is less than 30 minutes drive away with much to offer both old and new. The owners, Gary & Veronique really made our stay. They are welcoming and very knowledgeable about the localilty and nearby areas.

Vero and Gary were very welcoming and gave us some great tips for the local area. Most importantly for us the property is dog friendly so our pet dog could stay here in comfort!
