Lovely manor house in a rural setting about 20 minutes walk to the nearest village.

You arrive at Maison La Saula and the first thing is that it is an impressive Maison de Maitre. Inside, it is furnished with old French pieces, each individual. There is no theme. It is old, simple as that. Then you get invited to dine with the family. They offer Table d'Hotes also. The breakfast each day varies a little - different pastries or perhaps different jam to spread on your bread. Everything you would expect from breakfast. I have to comment on my bed also. It is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Getting up in the morning is seriously hard! So overall, this has been a fantastic experience. I would like to use one word to describe it. And I think it is a good word: Quirky.

Such a beautiful castle in a beautiful environment and a perfect stay to relax and as a base to visit the surroundings. Everything is with love of detail and well done. The hosts and their dogs are extremely nice and always there to answer any questions. We especially enjoyed the pool during our stay due to the heat.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Platane whilst house hunting in the area. Mme Horf was an exceptional host and made us feel so welcome, sharing her home with us. The room is very spacious and the breakfast was exceptional. We enjoyed some rest and relaxation in the evening in the lovely garden with our host and her gorgeous dog, Gin. Highly recommended.

We were very warmly greeted by Thierry and Nico who kindly stayed up very late to welcome us. Their home is just stunning ! The bedroom was enormous, the bed comfy, and everything was exceptionally clean. The attention to detail is second to none. Thierry and Nico very kindly made us breakfast where we shared a nice moment together exchanging stories. Thank you both again for your hospitality. 😊🙃

The location is on top of a hill with an amazing view south to the Pyrenees some 250km away. The property is very peaceful with only the sounds of the forest at night. Good French breakfast each morning.

Sometimes you come across people who have a real passion for what they do. Frank ,Benoit & Stefan all have this passion for their business. from the initial greeting until we departed they could not have been more attentive and helpful. Our room was excellent with every comfort we could desire. The Manoir de la Gravette is in a superb location, peaceful and serene. The facilities are excellent with a lovely swimming pool and gardens. The location is excellent but what really made our stay so fantastic was the way that they listened to us ( even though we did not notice) , On our 1st evening they gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner and even drove us to and collected us from the restaurant. The recommendation was superb and we had a beautiful evening in the square in Montauban. The next evening however was incredible. We had spoken about our love for traditional French food and wine and the meal we received was excellent. Superb starter with 3 types of Pate du Canard , a fantastic Confit du Canard and a mouth watering Tarte du Pomme. My wife had mentioned she had she had tasted a lovely Pinot Blanc earlier and lo and behold what was produced for Dinner but a bottle of the same. The effort made by all 3 to ensure our stay at La Gravette was memorable was incredible. Unfortunately we had to depart but we received a parting gift of a bottle of the Pinot Blanc. We cannot recommend La Gravette highly enough. On this trip to France we have stayed in amazing venues and had amazing meals but nothing can compare to our stay in La Gravette= it was incredible. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will be back#
