The staff were exceptional: friendly and service minded. Good cheer! Evening meal was superb and the own brewed beer fantastic. Breakfast staff were so helpful and in such a good mood it was a great start to the day. Breakfast buffet was the best I have ever seen and the choice of cooked breakfast perfect.

The host was incredibly nice, he welcomed us and gave us a lift to the hadrian wall path in the car the next morning. The B&B is perfect for walkers, it even has a small closet where we could dry our clothes. The room was very quiet.

Lovely friendly hosts; spotless; gorgeous breakfast with lots of choice; spacious, very well fitted and thought out rooms; everything worked; very easy parking and great central but quiet location in village. We were given two rooms, which were next to each other and very similar.

Really superb. Room was very clean and nice decorated. The best shower we had during our vacation. Free milk and water in the fridge. There was even a smart speaker present with amazon music! Extra service for bicycle storage was a plus. Communication with owner was very nice.
