We liked everything. The room was good, bed very comfortable. Wonderful views from a picture window. Very interesting venue, a 17th century coaching inn. Lovely lady running it, very friendly, excellent cook, breakfast was very generous. I had scrambled eggs on toast and my husband had most of a full English. There were also packets of cereal. Tea, coffee, orange juice, extra toast. Good informative book of the room and we had an excellent supper at a nearby Italian restaurant

After a long day walking the Wye Valley path the large, comfortable hotel room was very welcome and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and I had a great meal in the restaurant - although it was busy and I was alone the service was excellent and very attentive. The hotel is very close to the centre of town but on a quiet street with views out over the river - great location

Very quiet and clean accommodation. Breakfasts were brilliant- couldn’t have had more choice with cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and large English cooked breakfasts served piping hot. Hillary, the owner, was accommodating and even though she had had a stressful time with a recent personal tragedy, she made us feel very welcome with complimentary bottles of cider and apple cake! Would thoroughly recommend her B and B.
