Everything! On arrival, we were made very welcome, offered home-made cake and shown a selection of drinks including beer and wine at very low prices (I had a beer for €1.50) and a lounge and patio where we could relax. The room was a very good size with all the usual facilities plus fridge and kettle - and a door out to a patio area with our own chairs and table. The bathroom had everything we needed and was very good quality. Breakfast was exceptional - a wide selection of breads and home-made jam or other spreads, cheeses and meats; a wonderful bowl of fruit; a boiled egg; a pot of hot water for tea-making, on our own heater to keep it hot; yoghurt and some other things were also available. It was clear that nothing was too much trouble and a lot of thought had gone into getting the details right.

The studio is located within the Boutique Hotel - De Blauwe Pauw (the blue peacock) and located at the rear of the property away from the street. The studio was spacious and very well equipped and had everything we needed. We had our own outdoor seating area amongst the gardens. It’s within an easy walk to the city centre of Den Bosch or a short bus ride from the station. Ton and Jacquleline are excellent hosts and are on hand to help with any requests.

I got a chocolate soes (Bosse bol) as welcome treat. I got a tour of the little shop downstairs, very interesting place! The terrace was beautiful, with a bath, a space te relax and lots of plants. Lovely cat who came and go and loved to get attention. The place felt very homie and was in a cute way decorated.
