The location is amazing, 10 minutes out from Matamata surrounded by beautiful mountain and farmland scenery. Brenda was very welcoming and friendly. Her cat even more so! The bed was to die for and it was lovely to relax in the hot tub in the evening. My daughter loved the garden with the play equipment and little Hobbit hole. Great location to go to Hobbiton and Tauranga.

Host was super nice. She had made homemade bread, cupcakes for the kids for christmas. The location in the farm was awesome. Feeding the sheep by the kids were a bonus. Loved it.

We could walk to a lovely (and very yummy) coffee shop each morning and a fun brew pub at night. There were other restaurants on the street, but one was having a private party and another was fully booked. If you’re looking for super luxury travel vibe, it’s very hard to find in this area, my friend who is a pretty posh gal was a bit worried. However the Broadway Motel was IMMACULATELY clean, spacious, and very welcoming. We both were very please and highly recommend it!

Very close to town and easy for us to get around; bonus was empty garage to store our bikes (6 of them) and all the associated helmets, batteries, shoes and bags that go with a biking holiday. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Had everything you could need and we really only wish we could have stayed a bit longer. Thank you Alex and Marina for the use of your lovely property.
