It was our first time glamping, and what an experience! We had a Nature Walk when we arrived, then a lovely dinner, before a short Night Walk, unfortunately it was raining but we still saw some things. Then our safari the next day was incredible, with a wonderful guide. Highly recommend!

The hotel was also located right next to the national park which was very convenient. The food was also very tasty and the bed had a good mosquito net.

Seeing the Wildlife on safari was a great experience and the wide range of birds , butterflies and some rare animals like the Loris. We also enjoyed the traditional cookery demonstration. Camping was much more comfortable than usual and we didn’t have any issues with mosquitoes. Organisation was great and catered well for vegans in our family.LornaFamily with young children

We went on a safari with Susil, we did see plenty of animals including a leopard. Susil is brilliant at spotting willd life when orhers just drive by. The room was small but very clean and comfortable with a mosquito net and air conditioning. Their little daughter Divina is just beautiful.

The owner is an academic who is exceptionally well informed about the flora and fauna in the park - it was a great experience to go on safari with him twice. The tents are basic but comfortable, and the outside bathroom turned out to be much better than we feared! It is a very quiet and secluded place to stay. The food was also delicious.

Food, both breakfast and dinner, where home cooked and diverse. Bed was comfy, musquito net and ac in the room. The guesthouse is close to the Wilpattu entrance and easy to reach by road. Don't be surprised to see an elephant walking past the guesthouse. There is a lake near the place where you can walk and watch some wildlife as well. Owner has his own jeep and can arrange safaris for a fair price.
