Separat entrance and fridge in the small kitchen, but not a proper room in this small basement apartment. The apartment was dark with only one window.
This design hotel in the historic center of Friedrichsberg features a sauna, garden terrace and bicycle rental facilities. It is a 10-minute walk from the Schlei inlet of the Baltic Sea.

The hotel is a little complex of a few little buildings with each a few rooms that all look different. The room we were in was big enough for 2 people and even had access to a little terrace at ground level. The breakfast was a buffet with a big selection. When booking I asked in advance about gluten-free options (I’m celiac), and they were super helpful (I got my own gluten free bread as soon as I got into the breakfast room). The staff was really nice and we had nice talks.
This hotel is set in a tranquil location on the edge of a forest. Romantik Hotel Waldschlösschen is located in Schleswig, in the province of Schleswig-Holstein.
Offering beautiful views of the Schlei, Hotel Schleiblick is set in the heart of Schleswig’s Old Town District. A rich continental breakfast is provided, and Wi-Fi is available.

The Hotel is small and really cosy! The owner put a lot of love in this place!!

The location is amazing, and the sweet lady at the reception made my day. We even got packed lunches for the next day because we would miss breakfast. 10/10 would recommend!

I love Schleswig and have been here many times to visit family. It is not too big and not too small, with a lovely waterfront, beautiful cobblestone squares, the ancient fishing village of Holm, the historic Schloss Gottorf (castle), and - very near to where we are - the beautiful St Petri Dom, a huge old church whose spires overlook most of the city . Schleswig also has easy access to Kiel, Luebeck, and even Hamburg, by train.

Schleswig is a wonderful non touristy northern German town.
Schleswig is a wonderful non touristy northern German town. It has a wonderful history and there is a lot to see in the city and the surrounding area. Schleswig is a walking harbor town. There is a little beach. One unfortunate thing was that the Dom is being restored and everything (inside and out) is under scaffolding. There are wonderful restaurants. The people are friendly. It is a way to experience Germany which is not over run with tourists.

Schleswig is a lovely town.
Schleswig is a lovely town. I have been coming here for many years to visit relatives and I love the restaurants, the Schlei and the Holm district. There is a lot to see and do, a lovely cathedral and interesting museums. A very clean, green and friendly town. I recommend a visit here if in Northern Germany.

local council seem to be in the habit of demolishing buildings & not putting anything in their place. The Schliehalle should never have been raised to the ground. Everything shuts on Sunday which is brilliant. Like Sundays should be. Once you get used to the dour nature of folk, it's all very good.

Schleswig has a lovely old historic centre & the Hotel Akzent is within easy walking distance of the centre. Despite the fact that the cathedral is being restored & covered in scaffolding inside & out, all the interesting treasures of the cathedral are on display. Schleswig would be a good base for travelling around this part of Northern Germany.

Very nice breakfast, best crusty, golden fresh bread rolls I have probably ever had, nice variety over the 2 mornings - differently done eggs, fruit, etc. all nicely served. Handy location, if not super picturesque in itself, 20mns walk from the Dom, and around 10mns walk to the path along the shore. Handy car park behind the hotel. Nice extra living room space in our room, ideal as we were 3 with my mother, and had to have a snack picnic on our first rainy evening.
We arrive shortly before 6pm, we were still welcomed very warmly at the reception.
The very nice lady from there showed us our room too, which looked like the photo they have on the web.
The room was spacious, tidy, comfortable and relaxing.
The breakfast may not be big, but it is more than enough and the quality of what they served were of great caliber.
F-Ritz Hotel, thank you for our lovely stay. See you next time.
It's a great location for anyone using public transport, for example the new 49€ ticket, because the bus stop is 50m from the appartment. It is in the middle between the railway station and the bus station on a long road along the banks of the Schlei and you could easily get to many locations within Schleswig or the places round about. We would certainly stay here again.
Really splendid location by the lake. We stopped there on our way to Danemark. Our biggest surprise was the restaurant where the wine card & the food was great. Most of their wines were organic & bio dynamic from very select wine makers which are usually not something you find in a hotel restaurant.
What an amazing hotel owner in this quaint historic building with just 11 suites overlooking the Bay and Schlei. Katie was a super host, best breakfast in her vintage styled restaurant that was cozy and inviting. Rooms were very well laid out super clean and comfortable. I love her style.
Excelent location in the old town, close to restaurants, harbour, and Holmen.
Lot of restaurants in walking distance, and cafe's for a cup of cofee, and very good cake
Very nice room, beds mostlkely the best hotel bed ever
Excelent breakfast
Hotel Hohenzollern is a decent hotel a bit on the outskirts of Schleswig, where everything worked well, and therefore you can't remember anything afterwards. Everything was OK and as expected, OK room, OK beds, OK breakfast, OK wi-fi, parking...
This hotel is in the historic part of Schleswig, close to sights and the Schlei. We had a lovely room, with a view out to the Schlei. It is what would be described as a "quaint" hotel. Breakfast is excellent, served at the table.
Very warm, friendly and welcoming staff, great (and historical) location for visiting beautiful Schleswig or for having a good night's rest in a very peaceful environment while on the way to Scandinavia (as were we...).
We needed help for late check-in because we're on the way from Norway to Germany. But nobody answered us and with paying we just can stay in front of the hotel in our car in a rainy night.
very funky modern clean comfy room. very friendly people. Helped me out a great deal re transport, where other hotels would prob say, sort it out yourself. would come back anytime.
The room was very clean, quiet, staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ample. Enjoyed the casual comfort, cleanliness as well as the atmosphere of the hotel.
Very helpful and courteous staff, clean rooms, great breakfast, good location in quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking space in front of the hotel. Would visit again.
