Breakfast, Spa, near the city yet remote enough

It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Check-in is through a key lock system which could be a challenge for some, but the staff were very responsive and I had no issues.

We loved the breakfast buffet! And the location across the road from the harbor. One suggestion is to put a top sheet on the bed, so if the comforter is too warm, a person could cover with a sheet.

Beautiful building which backs onto the the grounds of the castle (over the river). Lovely area to sit outside in the evenings, and the bar was available for us to use. Our room also had a view over the gardens. Wonderful staff who were helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent.

Our stay at Strandleben was wonderful. The food was incredible! We had dinner in the restaurant and our children declared the burgers the best they've ever had. I had the salmon - it was absolutely fantastic. Our rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely amazing - I loved the rhubarb juice and the variety of foods, especially the breads. There was a delightful walkway in front of the hotel bordering the water. The views were lovely in the evening!

we had a ground floor room with access to a small terrace which greatly enhanced our comfort level during the stay. Breakfast was awesome with all fresh food

It was clean and the staff were wonderful! Very friendly and went out of their way to help. Receptionist even lent me her umbrella! It was easy to find and in a good location. Breakfast was terrific!

Excellent location on quiet street with parking and within walking distance of the places to visit. The instructions were clear and the host was very friendly. The apartment is beautiful with very comfortable beds and good quality furnishings.

The breakfast was more its money! And the dinner too! I came very late (after 20.30) but the kitchen prepared a full dinner at that time! Not far from the main road, and a nice garden behind the main building.

The location of this spot is incredible. It overlooks the Schlei from just across the street. It's within walking distance of the Schloss and the Alt Stadt, and our room was on the ground floor. It was a suite, with a lovely view. I really cannot praise it enough.

Great location in a lovely city. Host is very welcoming and helpful in suggesting local spots of interest. Excellent breakfast. Bicycle friendly and easy for a multi-day stop.

The apartment is very spacious and the facilities were all good. The view is lovely and it is well positioned for visiting Haithabu. There are supermarkets nearby and the washing machine was very useful! There are hobs and an oven.

Everything you needed was there. No repairing necessary. Unbelievable owners who made you feel welcome the instant you were greeted.
