Just 1.9 mi from the German border, a few minutes’ drive from Kollund, this holiday village has a grocery store and a large outdoor pool. All cottages include a fully equipped kitchen.
The location is very good, close to the border and the motorway. Good parking facilities.
The man that served breakfast in the morning was very friendly. He also came to work earlier so we could get breakfast before we had to check-out. I would have scored this hotel lower if it wasn’t for him.
Freshly baked bread provided at breakfast. Good restaurant on-site. Private and spacious car park. Lovely and quiet surrounding. Close to Padborg Park. Good for an overnight stay while driving through Germany/Denmark.
I was traveling with a bike and was planning to sleep in a tent in the woods north to the border, but due to a heavy rain decided to stay in a hotel. So for this last minute decision this was the cheapest option.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Frøslev Kro. Very kind and helpful employees, a wonderful meal in the dining hall and a good nights sleep before resuming our travels.
