I decided to take a trip to Strasbourg over the weekend and chose this hotel for my stay. The staff were very polite, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was really good. Also, the man at the reception was very kind and gave us information about the area. This made our trip much easier. I definitely recommend this place and would like to thank the owner for the warm welcome.

We had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Strasbourg - Sud. The location is great, just a short drive to Strasbourg city. The room was comfortable, with a perfectly sized bed and everything we needed. For the price, it was excellent value. The hotel offers a small but charming swimming pool, and there were even a few kid-friendly activities, which was a nice touch. One of the highlights was the large grassy field, which was perfect for our dog to run around in the evenings. The staff were friendly and available 24/7, and there was plenty of free parking, which made everything more convenient. All in all, a great option for families, pet owners, or anyone visiting the area.

Our room was on the bottom floor at the back of the property, completely shaded and near the L'Ille river. This was pretty and relaxing, but also created problems with the room. Everything was a little damp and moldy smelling all of the time, and opening the window and using the heater in the bathroom did not help. If we stayed here again, I'd ask for a room upstairs on the front side of the property. The staff and all the shared amenities were lovely.

The hotel is well located, one can travel on a short tram trip into the centre of the old city. Very easy to do so. The hotel has an excellent restaurant showcasing regional food. Breakfast is also excellent and good value. Parking was ample and free and one can access the freeway exits out of Strasbourg very easily.
