The rooms have just been renovated and it shows off. Everything was neat and in order, the beds were comfortable and everything worked perfectly. We didn't pay much but you definitely get value for your money

This is by far one of the favourite places my wife and I have ever stayed!!! Came to this area of France because of a wedding and discovered this little gem of a place! As with anything, it starts with 'people'. Caroline was there everyday, working long hours, and so so attentive that we felt like we were staying with a friend. She really is that sweet and that nice. We didn't bring the right adapter for the curling iron or hair dryer and Caroline said "no problem!" and quickly got one of each from the owners. The pool is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet and the views of the valley at breakfast are spectacular. Went to a number of other hotels in the area, actually, to meet up with friends attending the wedding....by far this was THE nicest place to stay in area of Nevers.

Fantastic welcoming staff and superb breakfast. Great location just off motorway, yet totally silent. Beautiful views from th e bedroom. This is a real jewel - small hotel with a friendly family vibe. Their recommendation for the restaurant they booked for us was just great. We've never had better value for money at a hotel in France. There are few restaurants and fast food near this hotel. Nevers Varennes Vauzelles is positioned in the middle of France. This is good for a stopover if you are travelling from north of France to the south by car. We stayed one night and experienced two rooms. The receptionist in the evening and the next day morning were polite. The parking is secure.

The staff was very friendly, the room was small but very clean and modern decorated. The hotel seems to be new. For one night stop, it was perfect . The restaurant was closed on a Monday evening so we couldn’t go but it seems to be a nice one.
It's a Premiere Class hotel. They basically all look the same. For people who have never stayed in one: it's a motel-style room with an extremely small bathroom. Lots of free parking just in front of your room.
