Turners Hill sits in a good place with restaurants all around. Gets a lot of cyclists in summer, which some find a pain. Not far from glorious countryside, and the town of East Grinstead, which is well worth a visit. It has steam trains as well as an old church. Numerous other attractions too.

We were visiting Standen House - a National Trust property just a few miles away. It’s an Arts and Crafts house by architect Philip Webb and famous designer William Morris. This is well worth the trip.. Can’t say much about Turners Hill - but it looked quite lovely

Barely any people, we had outdoor hot tub to ourselves. Facilities are nice and clean, bathrobes provided were adequate. Concierge was brilliant, we received a tour of the hotel, learnt about its history and heritage. I wish I had cash for a tip, alas everything is paid with cards in the UK.
