My husband and I found the Walaker (and the village of Solvorn) to be a really special place. We had perfect weather for swimming at the beach, hiking up Molden for fjord views, and enjoying a glass of champagne in the hotel garden. Staff and food were excellent. The historic room had tons of charm. We only stayed one night but I could see spending a week to enjoy daily hikes, afternoon swims, and relaxing with a good book -- it's such a lovely, restful place!

Beautiful spacious apartment/house with 4 bedrooms and gorgeous views of the water. Big kitchen, eating area. 2 bathrooms (though split awkwardly). Quick drive to town to restaurants or to Solvorn for the ferry to Urnes stave church.
