I hadn't been back to Bismarck in over 35 years until this trip. I didn't get to see much as I was quite busy during my stay. I'll be back in a week and will be seeing a bit more. Can't wait to check out a lot more on my return!

Very clean room. Very friendly staff. I loved the pressure of the shower. The price was perfect for my need. The bed was amazing, very comfortable. All in all, a very clean healthy atmosphere. You can not go wrong staying there. Enough restaurants to handle any meal type you might need. Thank you for concerns for me and well-being.

Bismarck offers an excellent sample of Great Plains history and culture, small town hospitality, with Capital city status. The state Capitol is a distinctive highlight with its atypical Capitol design and stylish art deco details. A tour of this building and the view from its tower are not to be missed.
The management was horrible. We had a very unexpected medical emergency and had to cancel our whole trip. We contacted the Hotel more than 48 hrs in advance and were told they would talk to the manager. We contacted the Hotel and left more than one message to have the owner/manager to contact us but still never heard back nor did they refund our nights. We had two different nights booked a week apart and never received a refund for either stay. We travel a lot and will never book with this Hotel chain ever again.
Easy check-in: Gayla was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and we liked the furniture, especially the armoire. The lighting was excellent, there were six lights. Having the outlets built into the lights and alarm clock was very helpful. The bathroom with the walk-in shower was very nice. This was the first time we ever stayed at Expressway Suites, and we wish they had other locations. The hotel was nicely decorated, and I was sorry that I did not get the opportunity to use the pool.
You can tell when people care about the place when every little detail is perfect. We stayed in room 111. The building is surrounded by beautiful plants, with no weeds to be found. The white ceiling paint met the grey wall paint precisely. The carpet looked new, and was put in in-line with the walls. The toiletries were really nice. Both front desk people we met were friendly. The sheets are poly-cotton, not the horrid microfibre ones you find in other places. Typical hotel noise.
One of the best places we have ever stayed. Everything was very clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Location was good. Sports bar across from motel has excellent food. Staff was following all Covid protocols. Best sleep I have ever gotten in a hotel. Bed and pillows were very comfy. I would must definitely recommend them.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating cause I get to the hotel much later then I had anticipated. Breakfast was fabulous and when we need to exchange a conditioner for a shampoo it was brought up to us quickly.
Under BAD circumstances, see below. Counter personnel tried to be somewhat accommodating. Just DID NOT FEEL SAFE as woman alone on second night. Decided to leave but could not contact them. Had to go back to hotel.
We arrived in Bismarck at 9:30 PM and left the next morning at 7. Short stay. It was exactly what we needed after a long day traveling. Air conditioning worked well. Slept great.
Easy to get to, very clean, comfortable bed. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was slightly better than the usual hotel fare with the exception of the coffee which was TRULY BAD!!
Of all the hotels we’ve stayed at over our holiday this had the best breakfast and had multiple staff members restocking it. Clean, well maintained facility.
