The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room nice size and very comfortable, bathroom (with jacuzzi) exceptional, good breakfast, and perfect location.

Facing the beachfront, Black Mamba offers 3-star accommodations in Paul and features a shared lounge, terrace and restaurant. If you passed by Paul you definitely have to stop here! The location is very nice, the room was clean and well decorated. The owner is very nice and kind, she helped us with the planning of our trekking. The food was also great as well as the overall atmosphere!

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of city, Ocean Suites is located in Santa Maria, a few steps from Praia de Santa Maria. we came here without any expectatuons and were surprused - in a good way. The hotel is in the center few steps away from the main pedestrian street, few steps away from the beach(s). All the staff is very helpful, kind willing to give you advice if one is needed. Breakfast is good, room was pleasant. I liked it.

Facing the beachfront, Barceló Praia Cape Verde offers 5-star accommodations in Praia and features a terrace, restaurant and bar. Small and new hotel. Very peaceful and comfortable. Great cocktails and food (their octopus was brilliant).

Casa Marisa 2.0 features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Portela. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. The whole village was buried by lava in 1991. The village collectively decided to rebuild. Thus the location, next to Pico do Fogo, is otherworldly. Like Mars. So, that is the setting. We met Mountain Guide Mustafa, one of the proprietors. Coolest dude ever. He has heck of a life story to tell. Casa Marisa is rustic and Perfect considering the wild location. It is not easy to build on hardened lava. I absolutely recommend staying at Casa Marisa. Awesome Place! And try climbing Pico do Fogo, or the other easier hikes. Or the myriad other activities offered.

Featuring a garden, Casa da Djedja is located in Mindelo in the São Vicente region, a 15-minute walk from Praia Da Laginha and 600 yards from Torre de Belem. This boutique hotel was well situated on a charming, quiet street in central Mindelo; it’s also only a few blocks away from the harbor and right near the main area to explore. Perfect location! From the beginning of my reservation, communication with the hotel was efficient and helpful. I also received a warm welcome upon arrival, even though I came late at night after my flight. The rooms are beautiful, well-decorated and very clean, and there is a cute patio area where you can relax outside of your rooms and have a delicious breakfast. I appreciated the friendly service and attention to detail from the staff. Absolutely loved this place and wish I could have stayed here a bit longer!

After a long tour of Cabo Verde, it good to relax in the high of Fogo. Swimming pool, nice campaign around. Very peace full. Very comfortable bed. Nice and cool place. Efficient team. Palmeira Da Cruz EcoLodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Chã da Igreja. Guests can enjoy garden views. Outstanding place! The location, the view, the swimming pool. The decoration is so beautiful as well. The hosts were amazing, very caring. Prepared dinner for the guests every night, plus a delicious breakfast. It's a very special place, one of a kind. Honestly you are in for a treat.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel Savana offers 3-star accommodations in São Filipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. The room was about perfect. It was clean, with nicely arranged furnishings. The rooms were nicely arranged around a small pool and courtyard area. The staff were friendly, helpful and always cheerful. The location was very nice, we ate at very good restaurants that were just minutes walk from the hotel. They packed a wonderful to go breakfast for our early morning flight. We would highly recommend The hotel Savana for your Sao Filipe stay.
