We had a very pleasant stay at this all-inclusive hotel and overall it was a great experience. One of the biggest advantages was the direct access to the beach, which made everything very convenient and relaxing. The hotel was also very family-friendly, with a nice playground for children and plenty of activities throughout the day. There were many bars and restaurants available, and most of them stayed open almost all the time, so you could always find something to eat or drink whenever you wanted. The food was excellent, with a good variety and very tasty options. What truly made the difference was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, professional, and welcoming. The entertainment team also did a fantastic job creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere during the stay. Overall, it was a lovely stay with very well-trained staff, great food, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Property was great I don’t understand the reviews on here they seem unhinged. All staff were lovely, room was beautiful, impeccably clean. It’s what you’d expect of an all inclusive place—just beware of the culture you’re stepping into!

Beautiful oasis in the middle of Sal. Three pools all different and the staff went above and beyond to help. Denilson the bar tender was great and a wealth of knowledge about islands. Also, Alex and Emma at reception were very accommodating and helped with any request.

It was nice the food delicious very spacious hotel with animation but the ocean has huge waves

We had a wonderful stay at Riu Cabo Verde! Everything was beautiful, from the hotel itself to the food. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. We truly enjoyed our experience and had a great time. Overall, a fantastic experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

I spent nine amazing nights at Porto Antigo Hotel BB, and it was absolutely perfect! The location is right in the heart of Santa Maria, close to everything. The pool is beautiful, with a private beach and another beach just across the hotel. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I truly loved my stay and would definitely come back! 🌴☀️❤️

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and relaxing. A terrific way to start your day. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Very helpful staff and a nice roof top pool. I do recommend the place. It is very central. Two min walk to the main street and five min walk to the beach. The place also has an elevator.

The location was perfect. It was in a quiet and serene location. However, within walking distance to the center and beach. The staff was very friendly and always very accommodating. The hotel was very clean and with beautiful ocean views.

The floors were so clean I was in awe! The breakfast was served with plenty of fresh fruits, panini press and pancakes! I loved my room and my experience. Tv showed local music and hotel was so pleasant.

Excellent hotel owned by cape verdians. The service and reasonable prices. Our flight was delayed by a day and they changer our reservation with no cost. They have connection with local activity and resturant recommendations.

I really liked this hotel! While they were relatively small compared to the ones around it, the staff was really nice and kind, the vibe was really chill, perfect for a vacation.

Very close to the boulevard with all of the shops and restaurants. The beach is also one block away.

The location is excellent, close to the airport.

Warm reception and hospitality

Hi Ouri Hotel Julia, I was a guest at your hotel from July 30-August 2, 2025, room #103. I am happy with the accommodation even though 1 late afternoon, the lights went out and did not come back until 2 hours later. No worries about that, it’s part of Cape Verde life. It is not the hotel’s fault, I totally understand that, and have no complaints there. Upon checking out on the evening of August 2, I thought I had everything until I realized when I was about to board the flight out, that I forgot a few of my valuable items in the pull-out drawers ! Immediately I tried calling your hotel but to no-avail. The next morning, I get an email from your receptionist Karine notifying me that they have found clothes left in the drawer of my room ! I needed the clothes back and she proceeded to help, from the heart. I just want to thank you Karine for going out of your way to help me get my items back. Karine went to the post office and post-mailed me my items all the way to the USA. I work in customer service myself and I must say, Karine’s customer service is pure 100%. Thanks to her, I am reunited with my valuable items that I thought I lost forever. Karine deserves a raise ! I will definitely be recommending your hotel to any of my friends that will be traveling to Sal soon. Thank you. Mya Dao

Big rooms with a nice ambience.

It is situated in a very nice location, it is well-kept and clean. The breakfast offers a wide variety, but it is monotonous.
