This is a beautiful, well-maintained property. It's a perfect blend of modern convenience and historic charm. We especially liked the stone wall accents. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and having a selection of stuffed animals available for our kids to borrow for the night was a nice touch. The breakfast is a definite highlight, with several items made hot and fresh by the owners each morning. We loved that the menu changed slightly each day. The property is also conveniently located—just a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from several excellent restaurants recommended by the staff. Speaking of the staff, they are incredibly friendly and helpful. They were happy to book taxis for us and offered great recommendations that never disappointed. We can't recommend this place enough and will stay there again on our next visit!

Beautiful romantic escape near Chișinău

Phenomenal hosts that make you feel at home. The beautiful enclosed courtyard makes you feel comfortable, with relaxing porch swings surrounded by flowers.

A very elegant, cozy, and beautiful Chateau only an 1.5 hr taxi drive from Chisinau. The grounds were simply exceptional, very well taken care of landscaping with ponds, paddle boats, swans and plenty of cute spots to either sit and relax with a book or enjoy a glass of wine. The Chateau, restaurant and rooms are well furnished. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was stocked with toiletries, robes and slippers. We were warmly greeted at the reception front desk by Anatoly, he was very kind, informative and personally took us and our luggage to our room, Anatoly was also able to schedule for us a private cellar tour and wine tasting. Our Cellar tour guide Igor was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour as well as tasting an array of Moldovan Purcari Wines, highly recommend the experience. The food served at the restaurant was amazing! They have options of local cuisine and international dishes, like steak and pasta, as well as a full breakfast- offering English, American and Traditional Moldovan options. Our waiter Ceprean was very kind, attentive and helpful with food options. Let’s just say we immensely enjoyed our stay at the Chateau Purcari and will defiantly be visiting again!

Honestly, knowing a lot about the hospitality business, I’m not a person leaving raving reviews too often. But this place deserves it, really. Exceeded my expectations by far. Nowadays, every small hotel likes to call themselves a ‘boutique hotel’, but many of them are far from it. This small hotel, in my opinion, is truly deserves your attention! Privately owned (I’m guessing), created with a lot of taste and attention to the details, beautiful mixture of a very modern property and national Moldovan touch here and there! I just loved it! Super clean, greatly located (real walking distance to the restaurants, park, pharmacy etc, 30-40 minutes was my drive to the airport ), small breakfast buffet, but everything you need in the morning, tasty and a good quality. A very (very!) pleasant breakfast location in the lobby bar, big windows and a lot of light. Really nice way to start your day. Definitely a place to return. Thank you so very much!
