Mystic Sands features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and terrace in Utungake. This property is very comfortable, relaxing, and quiet. The staff, Peta and Mau, were very helpful and accommodating with transportation to town for shopping and dinner. The owner, Kjell, was fantastic. We enjoyed conversation and learning about the culture of Tonga. Breakfast was wonderful. We loved sitting on the deck for breakfast. The reef was just off the boat dock. It is a beautiful, healthy reef with many species of fish and coral. The bay was perfect for kayaking. Thank you to Mystic Sands for a wonderful stay.

Located on the picturesque waterfront, Emerald Hotel & Restaurant is centrally located in Nuku‘alofa. Guests can enjoy Chinese cuisine from the on-site restaurant, or relax with a drink at the bar. Great staff ! Location was a few minutes walk to the market. View was phenomenal . Bed was huge with aircon.

Lovely family run hotel. Balcony view was really nice. Restaurant had a great menu and the food was good. A good wine selection too. Staff were super friendly and helpful and housekeeping were very efficient and always happy to help.

Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent for my needs as the job I was in Tonga to do was only 200 m from the hotel but for some guests it may be a bit far out of town.
