I have never felt better cared for at a hotel / resort, than I did at AVO. We were greeted on arrival by the owner, and offered fresh juice on arrival while they took our bags to our room. They met our every need during our stay with alacrity and grace. The system of communication, using WhatsApp to reach out for help, was inspired. And the included breakfast was extensive, and delicious. We were delighted to be staying on the east coast of the island instead of the more touristy / populated north beaches.

I liked every single thing in the property.. starting from the staff welcome 🙏🏻 to checkout.. The lobby, restaurant, pools and villas are all perfect 😍

Located in Kiwengwa, a few steps from Kiwengwa Beach, Zanzibella Hotel & SPA provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a bar. We really loved staying here! First time I was there was with my family and this time I came with my boyfriend and it was just fantastic. Amazing quiet beach with hammocks and swings (no beach boys), delicious food (try the king prawns) and the girls at the spa gave us such an amazing couple massage! Our highlights were the safari that the front desk manager arranged for us and the dance shows that were part of the evening entertainment. Such a beautiful place, we will come back asap!!

The manager really takes care of you and can assist you with making the most of your holiday and stay.

Charming beachfront bungalows with big private bathrooms, great staff, excellent breakfast, and good restaurant. Direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach and comfortable shaded lounge chairs.

Located in Nungwi and with Nungwi Beach reachable within a few steps, Dhow Beach Boutique Hotel has a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a private beach area. We stayed at the Dhow Boutique Hotel for just one night, but it left a lasting impression. Despite moving to another place for the next two days, we kept coming back to the Dhow for coffee, lunch, and drinks, it quickly became our favorite spot. The hospitality from the owner and staff is truly unmatched; we felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The views are breathtaking, and the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the turtle aquarium. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, definitely worth mentioning! The design of the hotel is also incredibly charming. Both the interior and exterior are beautifully crafted, with many wooden elements made by local carpenters using wood from traditional dhows (boats), giving the place a unique and authentic feel. As a bonus, guests have free access to the pool at the sister property, African Bungalows, which was a lovely perk. If I could give more than 10 points, I absolutely would.

Located in Nungwi, a 5-minute walk from Nungwi Beach, Oasis Blu Beach Resort-Adults Only has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness center and a garden. Superb! Absolutely wonderful! The hotel is located in front of the beach where you can enjoy the amazing sandbank when the tide is low. While the beach is public the access is very difficult so it id like having your own private beach. The views from the hotel are spectacular. The room are spacious, comfortable and very clean and it has a pool. The staff is amazing, very nice and attentive, from the manager Peter to all the staff at the restaurant and reception, everyone made us feel welcome and at home.

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. Everything! The room, the pool, breakfast was amazing and the service and kindness from everyone in the hotel was lovely! The best place to spend our new years holiday! Very good location as well! Would recommend and go back for sure!!!
