Located in central Selfoss, these self-catering apartments include a well-equipped kitchen and free WiFi access. Thingvellir National Park is a 30-minute drive away. The apartment was very clean, and the host was lovely and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Found by bubbling geothermal springs in Hveragerdi, this hotel offers an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs and sauna. All rooms include bathrobes, slippers and a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi is free. We literally booked 1 hour before arrival and the staff were informed of our arrival and checkin was quick and easy. Our room was comfortable with a great view, and we really enjoyed the outside hot springs even when the evening was freezing.
