Situated in Selfoss, 14 km from Geysir, Torfhús Retreat features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. A wonderful and picturesque hotel with amazing staff! Fantastic room with access to a hot pool, beautiful scenery in the middle of the nature with horses around. The dinners were also a highlight of the stay, absolutely delicious!

This eco-friendly hotel, 30 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik, is surrounded by nature in the town of Ölfus. Great spot just off the highway Quiet, well maintained, and cozy Good breakfast buffet each morning

It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 7 km to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants. Cabins were so cozy. Do need to drive down F road to get to property but worth it. Host was great, very willing to share information about the area. A short 10 min hike from the cabin was an amazing waterfall.
