The apartment was big enough, clean and with up-to-date...
The apartment was big enough, clean and with up-to-date furnishing. A good breakfast was included with real german brötchen, but also musli and yopghurt. We liked the apartment, because it stayed cool, had enough space for the kids to play after a day of sight seeing and had a kitchen to quickly prepare diner. Kestert is between Boppard and St Goar and a lot of the castles, so this is a good base to start from for sightseeing. This all combined with the friendly owner, made it a very nice stay.

Food was typical German type in non-season time: small choices, but very tasty, enough calories and huge portions. In the hotel reastaurant area we liked games available and also entartainment at evenings - music, dancing, open and fiendly atmosphere. You may say, not very modern place, but perfectly fit for aged guests who are not in hurry and want to be treated as in the family. Highly recommended. Many thanks!DzintarsLatvia

The location is directly at the Rhine river with amazing view. We had the room on back side and it was quite. Staff very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good but limited. The hotel has dinner buffet at affordable price and it looked good. Many guests also outside from hotel eat there. The rooms are traditionally rustic and airy with very comfy beds. The food is also very traditional Rheinland cuisine - hearty and delicious. Despite the furniture is a bit dated, it is clean and cosy and I don't have a problem with that. I definetely recommend the hotel.
