The location was great, a 5 minute walk from train station and close to Torp airport. Sandefyord town looked beautiful in the snow but we didn't get much chance to explore. Room was big enough, but hotter than I like. Everywhere looked very clean.

Sandefjord is very much a working, functional port town with good marina facilities for leisure boaters. There are plenty of options to dine out and have a stroll around the harbour/port area, but it is not really big on tourism as such, which is probably not a bad thing. If you are driving, the links to the major routes are easy to follow, and of course you have the ferry port for travelling over to Sweden.

We went out of season with limited activities---a month or two earlier and i'm sure our thoughts would be different. So expensive to live not just in Sandefjord but in Norway. Same price as Oslo---thought it would be better value.
Very clean and tidy and really did feel like it was my home away from home! Right next to a shop (less than 1 minute walk, open all week), only 20 minutes from the beach and about 30 minutes from the port/harbour. 15 mins approx to train station on scooters or 5 minute in a taxi! 10 minutes on the train (and a 5 minute bus) to Oslo Torp Airport. Finally the owner was great at communicating and got back to my messages promptly. Thanks for letting us into your home!
The owner very nice, friendly. It was no problem to get to the apartment. The keys to the apartment were waiting for us in the agreed place. The apartment was spacious, has a fully equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom. Location - intimate housing estate, peace and quiet, a bit far from the railway station. For non-motorized people, it is worth choosing the option of getting there by scooter or asking the owner about the possibility of renting a bike :))
If you are a person of nostalgia as I am, you will definitely love this hotel! All the decorations reflect the old time but at the same time you can enjoy modern comfortableness. The room was beautiful with big windows, and the breakfast was superb. The small town is surprisingly beautiful with a lot of interesting shops. Had we known that earlier, we might have stayed in the hotel for one more days. Very reasonably priced for both the room and dinner.
The hotel exceeded expectations. I chose the hotel based on reviews on bookings. The main criterion of choice was convenient location, and breakfast in the price. The option of two meals a day is very nice if you are travelling. Also the free coffee and tea downstairs in the bar was a nice addition to the stay
If I am in Sandefjord again I will definitely return to this hotel.
Definitely recommended!
very clean and comfortable home, converted to air BNB style hotel. very quiet and spacious. Great owner who will give you a free ride to and from the airport in Sandefjord (TORP) and is willing to show you around the city if you would like a guide. Also the beds are very comfortable. Very nice to come back to after long days of exploring Sandefjord/ Oslo and surrounding areas.
Due to late night airport delays, we missed the last train to Oslo. He picked us up from the airport and we loved staying in this haven. It was wonderful to see more how locals live, and he made it very comfortable. The fresh-baked bread was incredible, especially for weary travelers.
This property had the most beautiful view. Modern clean Villa with everything you need. Spacious dining and living room with large windows. Nice beds in the rooms and bathrooms were clean and nice.
A large outdoor patio that is probably amazing in the summer.
Huge variety of breaky in the morning. We had travelled from Australia to Norway for a world champs. The we received an upgrade as we were staying at the hotel for 2 weeks. Location was fab and easy walking to local restaurants and shopping.
First impresion about Norway was this wonderful accomodation, at Mikael. Near to the airport, quiet and so cosy! Coming from a crowd city, it was a breath of fresh air.
I recommend! I'd like to spend more days on the terrase next time.
The location of the hotel was excellent and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom and the bedroom. The breakfast was fabulous and was the best we encountered during a two-week trip around Norway.
Best thing was Host...Mrs Siri Anderson..
Polite ,Informative & helpful....if I ever get a chance to come back to Norway in holidays ..this place would be my first priority...
The apartment is clean and modern. The bed is very soft. The washer and dryer are a great feature, and the shower is large for Europe. It is a 16 minute drive to the airport.
