The location is perfect, away from the crowds but only 10 minutes (half a mile) walk to the old town, the main square or the bus and train depot.
The apartment is newly renovated and well equipped. Modern kitchen, large shower, spacious bedroom and lounge area. The design has been well thought out to make the best use of space.
Unlike some adverts, the apartment is just like the photos!

The apartment was very clean throughout.
There is heating, the air-conditioning units do hot and cold.

„Hosts were incredibly friendly and I cold not have asked for more! Wonderful people! The property is set a little outside Sorrento, around 10 minutes by bus, and is utter perfection. Every room was immaculate and every single thing you could have possibly needed was on hand. The hot tub was great, the rooms were large and spacious and sitting outside on the terrace with a morning coffee and seeing the lemon trees and flowers was just amazing. If you stay here, you can walk down to a lagoon beside the Roman ruins and although it is steep, it is beautiful and well worth it. There is a little shop nearby where you can buy milk, bread, cheese, wine and limoncello for the essentials and the bus runs into town twice an hour (and is 1.5 Euros each way). I loved exploring Sorrento and then escaping the crowds to our own special place. The property is gated with a few other properties as well, so I felt incredibly secure. I cannot recommend highly enough - we will definitely be back!“

the ower anna was really welcoming and helpful. she had left some delicious local food in the apartment for us on arrival which was really thoughtful and also drove us to the train station on the day of our departure. we liked how the apartment was off the main tourist track and that we had the opportunity to walk past local lemon and lime gardens.

„Lovely apartment, with plenty of room for 6 of us and still extra beds. Very clean and we were very happy here. Good internet and hot water. Easy to find, and very close to the railway station (about 5 minutes) which was a must for us. Emilio had very good English, and gave good instructions about everything. Two supermarkets close by, open from 8.30 to 8.30 with a few hours shut at lunchtime which seems to be normal for Italy, and also a fruit shop, Tabbaco shop and machines for bottled drink right next door. About 10 minutes walk to Piazza Tasso, but this is a small negative and to be expected for such a great price. Sorrento is a very busy place, lots of tourist shops and a great place to base yourself for tripping around. Nice beach, but that was not close to the apartment and you need to take clothes to cover up walking back - no walking back with a towel wrapped around!“

Apartment is located in the hills above Sorrento itself so without a car you'll be reliant on walking (a good path but steep) or local bus -timetable was provided in apartment. FYI the local bus service is a small bus - grey with a blue boat logo. You pay €1.50 on the bus so keep change handy and you need to allow 15-20 minutes either side of scheduled time as they can be early or late and don't wait!“

„Myself and my family had a fantastic stay at this property. Although it's quite a walk to Sorrento the view from the back yard and roof terrace make the location well worth it. The facilities on site were perfect for a family of four and it made for a great base to explore the peninsula. The booking agents were fantastic as we were panicking as we hit traffic on the way from Rome making us late for the 7pm check in however they were very accommodating and everything went really smoothly.
Once you suss out the buses of the area it makes a huge difference. Don't get a taxi from sorrento as although it's only around 3 miles by road this will cost you €30. Stick to the buses and it's very easy to walk down into the town centre.
Although the property has a shared pool you do need to pay a small service charge per person to use this and the lack of sun loungers meant our kids went down a couple of times but we used the solarium / roof terrace.
Don't let this put you off though, I'll never forget the incredible sunsets (although they will clog up your holiday snaps).

„Central location just off a piazza; not too far to walk to station and close to the steps (or elevator-fee) down to the port. Mario the owner is a superb, friendly, helpful and understanding host. He went out of his way to ensure we were informed, and helped us plan our one big boat excursion (on a free day during a business trip). In fact he drove us some distance to the port in the next town in his own car when we missed the boat tour taxi pick up. This was very genuine assistance freely given. „The location is superb, in a very old building right in the historic centre of Sorrento. Gianluca met us with the keys a few minutes after I called him and was equipped to take a credit card payment on the spot.
The apartment is large and comfortable with all of the amenities you will need. The kitchen facilities are modern and high quality. There's a small balcony overlooking a busy street which catches the sun in the early evening - a great place to relax with an aperitivo before going out for dinner! „Wonderful Apartment! We met Pasquale at our arranged time and he guided us through all aspects of the apartment. Very clean and well equipped, with so many every day items in the kitchen and bathrooms waitibg for you like toulet paper, washing detergent, rubbish bags, coffee, tea and many cooking condiments. Pasquale had also left the ingredients and a recipe for a beautiful tomato pasta spaghetti dinner on the bench which was both very tasty and a blessing after arriving very tired after 24 hours of traveling.

„Absolutely spectacular was our trip to Sorrento. And that was mostly because we've stayed at Casa Carolina. Owners Max and Jackie were incredibly friendly and very helpful with everything. Their house was wonderful and comfortable. We came late, they were waiting for us, warmly welcomed us, explained how the place function. The apartment is huge, clean, comfortable and equipped well. Perfect place for families and even couples or groups of friends. The bed was very comfortable. The house itself is in the lemon garden and Max produces a fantastic homemade Lemonchello. If you will like it (believe me, you will!), don't hesitate to ask more, as we did actually :) It is great place to stay and highly recommend it for longer stay than ours. Great value for money.“
