Beautiful breakfast in a roomy and quite restaurant. Very friendly staff in all areas. Comfortable beds, large shower where you don't bump in a wall and superb internet connection. Good wine list in the restaurant.

Featuring river views, Guntli’s family Guesthouse provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 33 km from Zurich Exhibition Hall. We truly enjoyed getting to know our hosts. Except for an occasional train, the location was very quiet.

Located in Oberstammheim and with Konstanz Central Station reachable within 41 km, Hotel & Restaurant Schloss Schwandegg provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. We did not know what to expect when booking a room in a castle during winter time, especially as the price was more affordable or on par with other accommodations in the region. We were given an upgrade of our room upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. We received a quite big, beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable armchair, and with a bathroom a couple of steps down the hall, which was not that big of a deal, especially when you think that you are in a castle, and castles did not have toilets in the room. Also the bathroom was modern, warm, and super clean so there was absolutely no problem on that end. It is still private. The location was very good for us as we had a plan to see Schaffhausen and Rheinfall and this is just 20 min drive away. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was excellent as well as the wine which was from a winery below the hill. The hotel/restaurant staff were super kind, they really added a little extra to this wonderful experience. In the evening we enjoyed being in the courtyard, enjoying the silence and the view of/from the castle, it felt like we had it for ourselves. We would gladly come back, hopefully someday we will.

The first time I have stayed in a beautiful place so different that normal hotel. Beautiful and cozy. The atmosphere is so fantastic and the room fantastic. The owner is so simpatic and helpfull to attend our demands.

The family-run Aparthotel Familie Hugenschmidt is located in the charming Seefeld quarter of Zürich, just a 3-minute walk from the green banks of Lake Zürich and a 5-minute tram ride from the centre. This location is excellent. Tram station is practically steps away, Two cafe’s very nearby for a special morning treat and/or lunch. Down the street within 5 min, you have access to a beautiful view of the lake & restaurants.

This hotel is situated directly on Lake Zurich just a 10-minute drive away from Zurich’s city centre. The restaurant offers a lakeside terrace and free WiFi. It was just perfect, cozy with wonderful staff

Located in the village of Gibswil in the Canton of Zurich, the Gibswilerstube is right along the Way of St. James. It features a restaurant and offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. Very modern clean hotel. The stuff was very nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this place. It was the nicest place we stayed on our Swiss vacation.
