Minaret Residence & Relax Pécs, a property with a garden, is located in Pécs, 500 metres from UNESCO World Heritage - Cella Septichora Visitor Centre, 400 metres from Pécs Cathedral, as well as less... The mattresses were *wonderful* -- even the sofabed ones! We were amazed! Peti, who spoke English, was incredibly helpful. The kitchens were adequately stocked for cooking. Two towels per person was nice.

Opened in summer 2014, Hotel Therapia is located in Pécs, offering free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms with a minibar. Free WiFi access is available. Quiet place in the wood, for therapy as name suggest. Top notch cleanliness, service. All staff was great but young lady Flora, on reception, was a real gem. Her professional approach, helpfulness was a great presentation of Hotel Therapia. If we again come to Pecs, this hotel would be our pick without a doubt.

The family-run Bagolyvár Inn enjoys a scenic location amid the old vineyards of Pécs, and offers you charming rooms furnished in rustic Hungarian style. Beautiful property on top of the hill, decorated with traditional artefacts (maybe too many of them!), 25 minutes walk downhill to the wonderful center of Spécs. Very comfortable room and bed. Friendly receptionist who spoke English, as Hungarian remains a beautiful mystery to me! He booked us a table at the hotel restaurant. The waiters hardly spoke English, but one of them went well beyond duty and patience (he spoke a bit of Portuguese and was delighted to practise his skills with us!) to help choose something to respect my husband's food intolerances (lactose and paprika, which is quite a feat for a Hungarian kitchen to accommodate!). It was one of the best meals we had during our long road trip across Europe (vegetarians abstain! Game and wine sauces accompanied with local wines). Breakfast was plentiful, included in the price of the room. Safe parking within the property.

This hotel is better then good. The wellness and swimming pool area is excellent snd worm. Brexfests and dinners are very tasty eith variety of dishes also this Hungarian. Desserts are the best .
