Baan Sakuna Hotel er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og veitingastað í Chiang Khong. Very calm a place. A good place to stay before heading to Laos. The trip offered to Slow boat to Luang Prabang was flawless. Thank you A very good and big supermarket in a walking distance (for me)

Breakfast had good options. Big rooms, that were well decorated. You can rent scooters directly from the hotel. We also gave them laundry to be done, everything came back nice and clean in just a day

Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort is surrounded by mountains, historic temples and hill tribe villages. Very beautiful property with helpful staff. Our room was big and spacious with a river view. There were not many people staying there during our stay there so it felt even more intimate. The pool and the view were also very nice.

Listen to the wild birds while looking at the adjacent mountains, or eat the best green curry or pad thai from Patty’s kitchen (the host has a home restaurant directly in the resort and her cooking skills are simply incredible). The location is super quiet, extremely clean and very well maintained. The hosts are absolutely amazing, a local lady (Patty) and her husband originally from Holland (Tony). They will do anything to make your stay a wonderful and unforgettable one. We spent 4 days here and are seriously considering coming back in the years to come! A+++ Also, make sure to rent a scooter bike on site and drive around the country roads. It’s been one of the best experiences I’ve had while traveling, period.

Stunning views everywhere, starting from your room, following your breakfast cafe, on the entrance of the hotel, near the entrance on the territory of the hotel. Hundreds of perfect stunning views to enjoy and take pictures. Amazing and friendly stuff assisting with every request. Nice food on breakfast buffet. Highly recommend!

เพลินนะเพลินนารีสอร์ท is situated in Ban Rim Lao. This villa features free private parking, full-day security and free WiFi. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. The setting was ideal: bungalows surrounded by gardens and rice paddies. Views of the hills. The bungalows where clean, spacious, and tastefully built. There is good A/C, but it is also possible to open the windows for airflow (there are mosquito screens on all windows). Shower has good hot water. The staff were very friendly, with the maids being especially helpful. The breakfast was good and the cook paid careful attention to our needs and preferences. There is a picnic table area underneath the bungalow were it was great for us to sit and work (good wifi everywhere). Parking is right next to the unit.
