From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this hotel stands out. Located just a few minutes from Västervik Centrum, it boasts an unbeatable convenience. The staff truly is exceptional – attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist. Each meal was a delightful experience, with delicious food that exceeded our expectations. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the hotel’s comfortable bed felt like a luxury. But the cherry on top has to be the breathtaking view overlooking the Baltic Sea, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that’s hard to put into words. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

This early 1800s castle is 10 minutes’ drive from Västervik. It offers fine dining, free spa access and a private beach. All rooms include free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Everything was superb. The best spa we have ever used. Dinner excellent. Room fabulous with amazing view. Comfy bed and quiet rooms. Staff on reception made us so welcome and attended to our every need. Facing the Baltic Sea, this B&B is in Påskallavik village, 13 km from central Oskarshamn. It offers rooms with a furnished patio and free WiFi access, as well as free access to a sauna. The breakfast was delicious and all home made. Teresa and Tomas were very hospitable and helpful. We enjoyed the stay extraordinary. The garden was blooming and we had our own part in this wonderful garden.

Situated among 18th and 19th century villas in a park setting, this charming hotel is 3 minutes’ walk from Kalmar Castle. Free WiFi is available. A truly excellent hotel. Very good service, warm and friendly. And an excellent restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.
