The Lumbini Guest House was under construction, so the owner moved our booking to “The Lumbini” Hotel & Restaurant, which was excellent. Not far from the original booking, and walkable to the Mayadevi Temple and park.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. There was a water bottle, soap, shampoo, and towel provided in the room. Very good location within a short walk of the main attractions as well as the bus stop and many restaurants and supermarkets. Wifi worked very well.

He also helped us sort out our travel to the border and onwards into India. I would really recommend the Lumbini Village Lodge!
