Boðið er upp á svalir með garðútsýni, garð og grillaðstöðu. the property was spacious and clean, the family who runs it were incredibly kind and generous. there are four units in the building, and it is on a quiet corner of the beach. you can have your feet in the sea in about 20 steps, and the water is calm most afternoons. there are many places to eat and get coffee in the small seaside village of Komi, and it is a perfect location for exploring the southern half of the island. we went for a week long writing retreat and did almost no writing because we loved Chios and Komi so much. We hope to return as soon as possible.

The house is wonderful! It's a renovated traditional stone house in Anavatos, with a big veranda covered by wine plants. Anavatos is an old village on top of a hill which is now mostly not inhabited anymore. It's a particular experience, because it's in an isolated place, but everything around is beautiful, the old abandoned town, the nature, the sky full of stars you can see here at night. And just a couple of minutes walk from the house there is a Restaurant which is opened every day and were you can enjoy delitious local foods. The beaches are not reachable by walk in a short time, but if you come here buy car in 10 minutes you are on the west coast and you just have to choose one of the beautiful beaches around.

We have traveled in 35 countries, but we have never had such a friendly and comfortable accommodation experience. The hosts hosted us as if we were one of their family. They supported us in all our needs. The house was very clean and had all the essentials. The location of the house was very good. Next to it, there are 2 famous taverns by the sea. We will definitely not look for any other place when we come to Chios once again.

I loved the location, very special in a beautyful abandoned village. The flat Is cosy and very comfortable. The lady Effi care a lot about her guest. I had a problem with my foot and she called me several times and her mother gave to me the medicine and a bandage. I asked if i could eat the grapes at the veranda and they cut the grapes for me!
