The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that I had everything I needed. The hostel was spotlessly clean, and the peaceful ambiance made for a relaxing stay. Its convenient location close to shops, restaurants, and the beach was a big plus. The availability of a kitchen was a bonus for those who prefer to cook their meals. Moreover, they provided free tea and coffee, adding a nice touch to my mornings. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at Laughing Leopard in Trinco. I stayed a week- extending my stay twice! The staff is absolutely amazing and it’s clear that they genuinely care about the guests and the property. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is cared for and happy, whether it’s arranging activities, tuk tuks, meals, etc. Okay wifi, good for Sri Lanka. Air con in the room from 8pm - 8am. Family dinner every night for 1000 lkr. Free breakfast which is amazing traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. 3 minute walk from the beach where there are bars/restaurants/cafes and many dive shops. Between the hammocks/central couch area and the organized activities happening every day, you’re guaranteed to have a fun, relaxing stay.
