Roads and open sewers are terrible. Radcliffe Quay is interesting. Ana's is great location, and reasonable prices. 1st Choice has much variety and deli food is excellent and great value. Difficult getting around St John's due to bad road conditions, with washed out sides, speed bumps and open sewers. You need to know your way around.

This stay was total 11 nights moved from other room for 4-night studio.
All units are privately owned so no two are alike, meaning furnishings and bath and kitchen updates are all different. If I was alone, I would have had to request a step ladder as everything in kitchen was too high up to reach. MICROWAVE in a cabinet above the fridge set back??? ALL in all, decent room a little pricy in my opinion for off season. The staff was very friendly. Location allows you a nice beach walk either direction. A few restaurants nearby. You do need to be aware next to Sandals so it can be a little loud in the afternoon. Many many beautiful beaches would need transportation. Driving is not for the faint of heart.
We did drive in order to experience the Island fully. Oh, and great snorkeling!!

Beautiful area. Island can be rough in many areas.
Beautiful area. Island can be rough in many areas. Resort is good for families, with lots of choices for restaurants and bars. Grocer is VERY expensive. Would recommend a golf cart or car for transportation around the resort, as it is very spacious. Resort is dated and needs updating. Each villa is different, so depends on the luck of the draw.

It is just a city, so half a day is enough.
It is just a city, so half a day is enough. Just explore the area around. Good places to eat in the Redcliffe Quay. Also, if you want to safely park a car there is a big parking lot (paid) right there. We tried to park a car on the street but the policeman told us that it is not allowed. Worth visiting the cathedral and the quays. Also, go on a biking/kayaking/ hiking tour organized by company who had an office next to the ice-cream/waffle place at the Redcliffe Quay. Great fun!
Our stay in the Northshore Aparthotel was really nice! Ticiana and her son were lovely, they were very welcoming and helpful people, they made us feel like at home.
The residence is really nice, the views from the rooms are simply gorgeous 😍 the whole place is beautiful! Very comfy beds and pillows. Very convenient facilities in the apartment too!
Very well located, quick car ride to the airport and to St Johns town. Easy to drive to the main attractions of the island too.
Our overall experience was great! 😊
After a long trip from Saskatoon to Antigua, it was nice to arrive at this quiet hotel. I had a suite on the top floor with a full kitchen, a king size bed, and a jacuzzi tub. I walked to St John's to rent a mountain bike for 5 days from Bike Plus on Independence Avenue and rode 200 km all around the island. The nearest beach is a 20 min walk from the hotel. I recommend Nigel's restaurant just down the street at the Anchorage Inn. I had a wonderful time. Donna was a very nice host.
The staff here is amazing and they truly cater to your every need. They make you feel at home away from home. Nick, Vincent (bartender) and Debbie(waitress) always greeted with a smile and positivity regardless what time of the day and made my stay amazing with their exceptional service and best recommendations on what to eat and drink. The food and drinks were great! If you’re looking to get away and relax I highly recommend.
Amazing location - literally on the beach (less than 1 min walk to Dickenson beach), restaurants super close (less than 5 mins walk), great room with great view. On site mini mart and very helpful staff. 100% would recommend and will be returning to when I'm next in antigua.
Beautiful location. Perfect staff - friendly, helpful, polite. Hotel grounds very well kept and had some beautiful shrubs and trees. Food was great particularly at The Cove Restaurant.
I would definitely recommend this resort and hope to return.
I like the location, the neighborhood was safe, close to everything and every open. I liked that my friends and family were able to visit including my driver who I asked to stay late because I needed to get around often. I will visit Antigua again.
The location , and rooms were fabulous. It was very clean and our balcony on the top floor was lovely , overlooking the garden and palm trees . Thr cleaning staff were excellent. Marvin on the beach was just great .
Pascal is an amazing host and this apartment is a comfortable and convenient base for visiting all parts of the island. The fruit trees in the backyard—not to mention the hammock—are a lovely and blissful bonus.
Location excellent for those of us picking up a cruise ship, hotel was clean, breakfast excellent, hotel like most hotels after covid in need of some updating but would have no problem in staying here again.

grear location able to enjoy the whole area

Quiet relaxing rustic place with really fantastic staff. Effortless all inclusive, just ask. Wonderful breakfasts, cooked to order and splendid cocktails.
The Location is fantastic, right on the beach. The gardens are beautifully kept. There are a lot of lovely restaurants close by or a short taxi ride away.
