London is a bustling city, with a wide variety of attractions in the city and many more just on the outskirts. The main city attractions are Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Big Ben, London Tower, there are also river cruises on the Thames and walking tours in the city. London is also very easy to get around, you can hop on/off the underground (tube) very easily using contactless payment with a Visa card and the network of underground extends North, South, East and West of London. Just outside London city there is the Harry Potter Tour, which I think is well worth the visit. You can have a short/ long stay in London, depending what you want to do, see the main attractions, go to the theatre, go for a shopping weekend.
London is a fabulous city. There is so much to see and do. Historical attractions, shopping, restaurants, bars, parks and museums galore. Not to mention the shows etc. Different parts of London will offer you a different experience and most tastes are catered for. I absolutely love the place !!
London has a lot to offer for a City break, a range of restaurants, many museums, great bars and pubs and lovely to walk around. There are so many different things to do it would be hard for someone not to find something to their taste.
Interesting information about properties close by i.e where cgarles dickens stayed or the creator of peter pan novels etc british museum closeby aswell has plenty of foodie places although its best to book a table in advance british museum is a must see too and small play areas for children to play while you enjoy a coffee
The hotel was central to where we needed to be and for sightseeing. Couldn’t have been better. This is the first time of visiting London that we used a taxi only to get from Euston Station to the hotel and to return to the station. We walked everywhere else and realise just how small London really is.
Given the distance from central London the hotels in this area are a reasonable price, the rooms are very nice, good quality matresses and the room has tea/coffee making facilities. City Airport is not far away, witihin walking distance. Cenral London has a lot going for it, plenty of places to visit.
Finding a good, reasonably-priced boutique hotel in London is not as easy as it sounds. With rail strikes a constant threat staying within reach of Heathrow seems important. The Xanadu is a great choice. Near to station, shops and restaurants in Ealing Broadway it really fits the bill. Excellent rooms, lovely staff, a lift, and a sophisticated continental breakfast (European in style) make a short stay pleasurable and comfortable. I’ll definitely stay again. A more personal experience than in chain hotels and reasonably priced.
Brilliant location, really quiet in our lovely comfortable room (4th floor) which was well soundproofed. Extremely comfy beds and pillows! Well furnished, very clean and will definitely return to stay again. Having stayed in many hotels and apartments in & around Paddington when visiting London to go to the opera or shows, this is definitely now our favourite. Helpful staff in reception, nice calm atmosphere, and a very nice scent in the main lobby! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We loved the location, great value for money and the apartments give you extra facilities. The staff were all really nice and friendly and breakfast was great. We would definitely stay again, hotels in London are notoriously small roomed and expensive so the space and location were great value and some lovely touches (potion making was fab, white company toiletries and nice bedding and towels)
The price seemed cheap compared to other hotels near the area (South Kensington, London) and we enjoyed very much our stay. The hotel was nicer than I expected, the lobby is comfortable and large, there is a starbucks inside, vending machine where we bought a convertor. The room we got was an ok size, small but at the same time organized.
It is really difficult to find a comfortable hotel in London at a reasonable price. London House may not be the very cheapest but I've stayed in similar priced hotels that have been much worse. The room was a decent size, clean, the breakfast was adequate (cereal, pastries, toast, fruit, ham and cheese) and the staff were friendly.
Clean, modern in both the public areas and rooms. Considering this is at a Travelodge and Premier Inn budget hotel price-point, this totally blows both of them away for style and delivery. Room was tiny (it is central London) but it was well designed with lots of storage, comfortable bed and small shower but plentiful hot water.
I visit London 2-4 times a year and I normally stay at hotels that are more central but I really liked this location. Nice area with many restaurants and only 2-5 min walk from Earls Court and Gloucester Road stations. Large room (we stayed in a triple room) compared to other cheap London hotels. Friendly staff.
Tower Hamlets, London
We stayed in London for 6 nights and I worked from the hotel whilst my partner went to his office. We appreciated being able to make breakfast in the morning and use the washing machine. The location was so convenient, only 20-30mins walk to Shoreditch as well as Borough Market and 30mins tube to Soho.
The location of the hotel was very good, only 5 minutes from the tube and few minutes walk to the supermarket. Relatively spacious for a single room compared to other hotels I stayed in London. Fairly clean. I was able to store my small suitcase before heading to the airport in the evening.
Compared to other cheap hotels London, Hotel 65 was very good. - The room was big - Good bed - There was a small fridge - Small, but ok bathroom/toilet - There was free breakfast (I didn't try it though, so I cannot give any review on it) - Daily/good cleaning
Westminster Borough, London
The hotel is cheap and VERY close to Victoria Station. The location is also a few minutes walking from sightseeing points of London, like Buckingham Palace, the Big Ben and London Eye. Its an OK place to stay if you will spent most of your time out of the room exploring the city.
One of my favorite hotels in London, in a great location! The room with a view of Hyde park was great. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, they made my stay more enjoyable. The whole hotel is very luxurious. The location is superb and close to the underground station.
Kensington and Chelsea, London
The staff was very friendly and kind. Even it was cold outside the hotel and the room was warm and cozy. Very clean with new bathroom. 5 mins walk to the station and cheaper than others in the same area (expensive but cheap in London) It has a tesco very close to the room.
Everything was good except for the size of the room in both Z hotels ( Victoria and Tottenham Court Poland Street locations London. The rooms were exceptionally small and if I didn’t have a window, which had no view, it would feel like a luxurious prison cell.
Easy walk from Paddington station and close to Kensington Gardens and Central Line. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast normal for London. I have stayed at several other hotels in this area. Thus has been the best one yet.
i loved how the staff greeted me even when my room was delayed till 4 pm I wasn’t complaining. they upgraded me immediately. the hotel is cleaner than any other hotels in London (within the same range of price and room).
I stay in a lot of cheap hotels in London and this one was fine. Room and bathroom was small but as expected.
