Amazing city. Lots of history and things to do. Buzzing nightlife. Tons of free cultural options like the British Museum and the National Gallery. Be prepared because its an expensive city. Tickets to anything that’s not free are not cheap. Transportation is not cheap except the bus.

London is a beautiful city. Public transport works very efficiently. The people are very welcoming. A few scammers on westminster bridge (the cup and ball shows) should be banned because they fool the visitors and steal their money. Otherwise it was a great experience to be here

Visited Portobello Marked (slightly overrated - but cosy enough), Oxford Street (overpriced), Buckingham Palace (hard to get a good view during changing of guards), Covent Garden (very nice), Madam Tussauds (overprized), London Eye and surrounding attractions/buildings (well worth it), Tower of London (ensure to have enough time), Warner Bros Harry Potter studio tour (not worth it at all imo, but my 16yo was very happy), used google maps to find excellent rated restaurant - which gave good value for money.

Well after a long trip, I showed up in a hostel, where they denied my stay because I was too old for their age policy (something that I never saw written). So we started with the wrong foot. They referred me to other places, I chose another hostel, which I was there in person, had a long line up and I booked on-line to get ahead, but made a mistake in the dates, since I chose non refundable fare, even if I told them immediately about my mistake right there, the manager refused to see them and they took my money without even an explanation. The city itself has nice landmarks but people in the streets are not nice at all. My 19 year old nephew was not impressed with the locals rudeness behaviour. So do not expect much.

This was my second time in this hotel and I absolutely love it. I love the location as it's 3 mins walking to my office and you are close to everything. The reception staff is always so welcoming and quick to solve any issues. Breakfast is simply outstanding, no matter if you're a croissant and coffee type or full english one. Room is small but OK for one person and I like that it has all the facilities you might need. All in all, a great stay and I'll book this place every time I'm in London.

The hotel is well located, being about halfway between Heathrow airport and the West End. We stayed here for two nights when we arrived in England then went elsewhere for several weeks then returned for a longer stay. We also stayed here last year. It is very close to the train station and has very helpful pleasant staff members. If/when we're next in London we'll certainly consider staying here again.

Very comfortable and clean, great staff.Rooms need abit more updating, no saving mirror in the bathroom, no mirror on the office desk to do your hair and make-up so had to either stand up in the bathroom or sit on the floor by the wardrobe. It would have been a good idea to have a hotel channel on the TV to promote all the hotels facilities, restaurant, breakfast, hire cars and what London has to offer.

its close to everywhere that you need to be, simple hotel but nice. Easy to find and good price. Stayed in many hotels in London and yes you can get some cheaper ones but then sometime you need to get a taxi as they are further out so we would rather pay a little bit more for a nicer hotel and somewhere more central

Great location. Small room. Clean. If you level your expectations and take a look at the pictures, you will be fine. London is not known to be cheap and also its hotels are comparably lower in quality compared to other European countries (e.g. Germany, Switzerland, Italy)
