Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, hotel in London

Located on the South Bank of the Thames, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London is set opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, on the South Bank.

The location was close to the city center, but due to the proximity to the train station, the area was not clean and did not create a sense of security. The breakfast was very ordinary and limited and did not match the amount received at all.

Strand Palace, hotel in London

Welcoming guests since 1909, the Strand Palace is located in London’s West End within just 2297 feet of the Adelphi and the Vaudeville theaters.

Room was good, even if the mattress was too soft for me (personal preference only). Strange to see no door for the bathroom but I understand for a 1-person room. Breakfast was super great! Location is super easy with Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square nearby.

The Z Hotel Covent Garden, hotel in London

Z Covent Garden offers a 113 bedroom hotel in the heart of London’s West End.

The Z Hotel in Covent Garden is in the heart of the action. It was close to everything. It was 3 minutes from the underground and you could grab an Uber. The staff was friendly and the room, 96 square feet, was small but we only used it to sleep. We were rarely there. So, that said, it was exactly what we needed.

You can either walk or take the tube to see most of the main sights. London is a huge city with lots of people so you have pack your patience. Also important to do so advance planning if you want to get into most of the sites. Many require advanced tickets and reservations. You probably need a week to see all the interesting sites. London exceeded our expectations!

London is a great world city that suffers from its popularity - crazy numbers of tourists just about everywhere you go. However, the range of options of things to do is truly stunning - from great pubs and restaurants to high art and culture events.

    The cultural capital of Europe!

The cultural capital of Europe! One of the best wheelchair users adapted locations. I came to I came to London to celebrate my birthday with a friend, meet my daughter, go to exhibitions, listen to a concert, and have fun in general. As I am a wheelchair user, I was deeply concerned if the ‘disabled’ facilities will be properly adapted to my needs and very anxious. Not only are the facilities available, but people are extremely friendly and all staff of public transportation, restaurants, exhibition halls, etc. were very proffessional and provided perfect service. My anxiety vanished immediately and I had the greatest experience. I highly recommend London! Go for it, or rather wheel for it!

We enjoyed visiting family and the ease of travelling around the local area. There was plenty to see and do locally and trips further afield by underground and overground links were great. A first for us was taking a couple of Uber boats along the Thames, particularly at night. Always be aware of your surroundings and keeping luggage close by as it is an extremely bustling city with lots of warnings about pickpockets operating in extremely crowded areas.

Perfect location for travelling all around london - Russel Sq. Station has Piccadilly line which connects to Heathrow. Otherwise there's King's Cross and St. Pancras train stations. Walking distance to Holborn, Oxford Street, British Museum. Big rooms with windows, better than the majority of London hotels. Some of the rooms are as big as 25 sq m. That is very rare for London at this price. The bathroom was fully renovated with a modern clean design. The bed was comfortable-ish, on the hard side.

Lovely, friendly guy greeted us on arrival, happily gave us advice on getting around London. Our twin room was spacious for London. Very clean throughout and comfortable beds. The tea and coffee facilities and fridge were a bonus too. We were very happy with everything for the price we paid - it was cheaper than most hotels we've stayed in and much nicer. The location was great too - just around the corner from Baker Street station with plenty of eating establishments a short walk away.
