Royal Lancaster London, hotel in London

This 5-star London hotel is quietly located next to Hyde Park, Marble Arch and Lancaster Gate Tube Station. The hotel offers breath-taking views of the famous London skyline.

Besides being an attractive hotel and a great location for us, what really set this hotel apart for us was the FRIENDLY and HELPFUL Staff! EVERYONE was super nice, accommodating and just wanted to make sure we had any needs taken care of as best they could! We had some dietary restrictions so we could not eat all the sumptuous food offered at Breakfast. It was a wonderful spread of varied foods. The hotel DID accommodate our needs and we were able to eat just fine.

We got a handicapped room and the shower got a little messy when we used it because of the curtain or glass door, I don't remember what was it. Tea and coffee in the room is a nice touch. Location is great! The staff is really nice!! Be back for sure.

We were in the center of London so lots to see and easy to get around by London Bus (much better than the tube as you get free views of all the sights of London for the cost of a ride) We had a celebratory meal at NOPI which we highly recommend for a special event or occasion.

Wasn´t my first trip to London, won´t be the last.

Wasn´t my first trip to London, won´t be the last. Exploring never ends and revisiting some places is fun as well. If your english is ok, go to a show and/or play. Ride a bus (doesn´t really matter where to) and enjoy the sights. Buy an Oyster Card -it´s the easiest way to use public transport. And walk. Start at any place you like, stop at any place you like. Than take a map/your phone and decide what to do next. Just go with the flow!

London is an amazing city that offers a million activities and caters to everyone. We stayed seven days and it wasn’t enough to see it all. The biggest drawback is how expensive it is. Each metro ride in zone 1 is 2.60. You can’t find much to eat with 10 pounds. I would highly recommend it regardless of the expense. It’s worth it.

We chose the Westbridge Hotel as it was within walking distance to the Abba Voyage show. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the hotel was clean and not too big in comparison to other hotels in London. We were upgraded to a fantastic room on arrival which was a lovely surprise. We had a large spacious room with a huge bathroom, small fridge, a safe and a small balcony overlooking London. Our stay was very comfortable and we would recommend this hotel for anyone who is going to the Abba Voyage which is also well worth a visit.

Clean and tidy rooms with great central heating showerroom and toilet was spotless. Nice comfy clean beds also. Staff where so accommodating and helpful also. To stay it was much cheaper than most hotels in the area so great value for money. Highly recommended for sure and I'll will be back next time i travel to London.

Clean, modern in both the public areas and rooms. Considering this is at a Travelodge and Premier Inn budget hotel price-point, this totally blows both of them away for style and delivery. Room was tiny (it is central London) but it was well designed with lots of storage, comfortable bed and small shower but plentiful hot water.
