I'm disabled and use a wheelchair so getting the right hotel is key in the area of London you choose to visit don't think you can criss cross over London to see all the sights you won't be able to as the roads are grid locked so pick a segment and expose that area if u want to see sights not in that area get an uber or a bus don't get a black cab they charge by the minute and when I first came used them it cost £35 for 2 mile travel where as an uber would be £4 and a bus £2.70 if ur going to the west end book a hotel on the strand ! All the theaters are on there or very close I stayed at the z hotel strand and is a great hotel couldn't do enough for us and free bottles of water great facilities and it's up an ally way so you don't get all the street noise hope this helps if it rains I recommend the national art gallery at trafalgar Square total Free to enter and you can see the original da vinci,,van gogh, Ruben all the greats constable all free to see and a lovely cafe in there too

London is fabulous city , you are always surprised with the changes in evey part of it. Youcan explore it tousand times and always you´ll find something new. I go regularly do London to see theatre productions and I am always satisfied to find something exclusive and explore new surprising places conencted with culture. I like very much to walk on the South Bank (from London Eye to Tower Bridge with the stops at National Theatre, OXO Tower, Globe Theatre etc.) , Of course the walk from Piccadilly through Haymarket to Trafalgar Square or to Leicester Square and Covent Garden is the basic. And I like Soho and China Town with very good and quite cheap take-away meal. I recommend also Camden, Notting Hill, and Stratford. Everybody can find in London the best taste for soul and body.

London is a huge city, yet it is easy to navigate their transport system. One must live quite close to either Russel Square, Leicester Square or KIng's Cross St. Pancras since these areas are inexpensive and have good access to transportation. Purchasing Oyster card is necessary since you can just top up payment with use of your credit card, and when you travel after peak hours, you get discounts.

Use public transportation only if you have time.

Use public transportation only if you have time. (Tourists always have time :D ) Many times - usually late afternoon - busses just left out or travelled just halfway and we had to catch another one. Google or TFL (Transport for London) planner wasn't accurate and showed busses in time when that's never arrived, both showed just a few options, not all. I visited London before and knew they were expensive, but London-eye Ł200+ for 5pers just surprised me. Fortunately, the British Museum and Natural History Museum are free and you will spend more time there than you expected before. Sea Life London Aquarium has gone down since I was there, also I miss the Trocadero.

These aparthotels are located about 10 minutes walk from Aldgate East tube station which is well connected to get all over London. They are secure and accessed by key card swipe at all points of access. The room was a good size with a king size very comfortable bed. Bathroom was well equip with an excellent shower. There is a microwave, fridge and kettle in the room making breakfast easier as it is not provided at these apartments. We were able to store our cases prior to check in and after check out which was very helpful.

Apartments are very nice (newly renovated, I assume), well taken care of and quite spacious by London's standards. The kitchenette has all basic things to prepare simple meals (even salt and pepper were available) and the hotel provides you with a laundry room to use free of cost. Very nice area around the hotel with typical Victorian architecture and lots of small parks (although private ones). 5 min walk to Earl's Court underground, many eateries around it and 5 min to a very big supermarket: Sainsbury's. Totally recommended!

A lovely hotel room with a smashing Pub! There is a lift and A/C! The room is cozy and more room then expected. We elected to include breakfast and it’s worth it! Everything we ordered from the bar was excellent! Large dining area and if weather permits an extremely large beer garden! Staff were courteous and food is served promptly. The train is a block away! The hotel is located halfway between Heathrow and London and in just a few stops Paddington Station is your central hub.

Compared with most London hotels the room was spacious and beautifully furnished and a free uipgrade gave us a balcony looking over the river Thames. Lavazza coffee machine and pods as well as kettle and teabag selection with bickies made the room a real place to relax. Flying to London City the location was just a mile away so the usual nightmare of getting to the hotel from Heathrow/Gatwick was totally avoided. Perfect for the ABBA Voyage event.

Just what we needed - clean, quiet rooms for one night, at a very reasonable price, within walking distance of the Albert Hall. What surprised me was how high spec this hotel was, and how roomy my room was; I've stayed in a lot of cheap hotels in London, and this was by far the smartest, cleanest one I have ever stayed in. Also, the guy on reception was very friendly and humorous, which made a pleasant change. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in a very good location for my needs on that visit. Close to Paddington Station with over ground and underground rail links and close to many eating places but not many food shops except some good stores on Paddington Station concourse. The price is reasonable for inner London hotels. Security felt good with a locked front door and a person usually sat in the office by the door. It was warm and the noise levels were quite low.

Great location right next to Trafalgar Sq, a step away from everything. Perfect for a first visit to London. The room we were in had a great view on the street and yet very quiet. Somewhat expensive but "expensive" is a relative word. Not expensive compared to similar hotels in the area. Best hotel we stayed in Europe but again priciest we booked too. It was all worth it and we would return. Loved the place.

This is one of those small London hotels converted from apartments. So more a series of rooms than a normal 'hotel'. No dining, bar or leisure facilities. More a 'room for the night'. Rooms are very compact, especially the bathroom but modern and clean and fine for one night. Great location near King's Cross station. Good value for money.
