We usually come to London between Christmas and New Year and it’s lovely but this year was extremely busy so we couldn’t do as much. We gave up on madame tussauds even though we prebooked our tickets as the queues were 3hrs long! Instead we got a cab to Covent Garden where we ambled around listening to street opera and magicians which always make it worth going there. This time we visited a restaurant called Tuttons and only waited 10-15 minutes for a table for five so pretty good. Beautiful carpaccio starter but I chose badly the main course and should have kept it Italian! They make some lovely cocktails which I recommend! Cable cars over the river were a thrill as they’re much higher than we imagined. Our accommodation was the Sunborn Yacht Hotel at Canary Wharf which I’ve reviewed also. Fantastic place to stay instead of a normal hotel and will return for a romantic weekend next time, leaving the rest of the family at home 😆. The only way to travel is by cab as they know everything and you rarely get ripped off especially if it’s a real Londoner driving. River taxis are also a great ride for sightseeing and they certainly do move fast. Of course everywhere you go there is something to see especially when it comes to beautiful architecture through the ages. The new Lego store is awesome!!! All in all a great visit.
The hotel overall was good. Room was small but it seems like ALL rooms mostly are limited in space but we were able to move around comfortably. For my first time in London it might have been far from the major tourist areas and it was always a 20 min metro ride but it was walking distance to Notting Hill. The neighborhood its in is really nice and quiet so sleep was great.
There are so many museums to visit and most have free entry. We perhaps could have visited more, but we also wanted to do some sight seeing. The London underground is great, but often it is very busy.
London has so much to offer, the regular sights but also trips down or up the Thames, visit Canary Wharf and the Isle of Dogs, go to St Paul's Cathedral, lovely village-like areas with lovely cafes and good restaurants.
London has something for everyone, whether you're looking to explore the history of this amazing city or immerse yourself into the diverse cultures that make the city the place it is. There's museums galore, shopping for all pockets and food, with flavours from around the world. Great destination whether you're a lone traveller, a couple or a family group...London has it all. Transport is easy to use/access with choice of buses, tube or taxis.
London is a big city with lots of tourist attractions, but depending on where you are, it can also be a big dirty city! Stick to the tourist attractions and better areas. If you're planning to use the trains, get ready for a lot of confusion. There are a LOT of trains and you need to know how to read the maps.
Camden, London
The apartment had almost everything covered. The appliances were good. The rooms had good bedding and there was Netflix that my kids really enjoyed. The apartment was easy to locate and close to many of London's attraction points. But the management of the apartment should get the highest score. I have been to many hotels, apartments, and other similar facilities, I have never met so kind, understanding, polite, and highly professional hosts. Thank you guys for increasing the stats of great people on this planet.
I really enjoyed this hotel when I stayed there for three days several days before. I went off to the southwest of England and returned to the Sloane Square Hotel for one night as I had an early flight back to New York. I had an excellent room that overlooked Sloane Square but was very quiet. Great staff at the front desk that warmly welcomed me back to the hotel. This is a "real find" in an excellent location in London. I definitely plan to return.
This is our second stay at the Club Quarters Hotel Covent Gardens. We like its location close to the Piccadilly Line which has direct connections from Heathrow. The hotel is in a quiet area. There is a park right across the street. We could walk to pubs and historic sites like Big Ben and the London Eye. The Club Quarters Hotel makes a really good home base when in London.
We absolutely love the stuff! Everyone, from the receptionist to the hotel manager and the chef in the kitchen! We are vegan so they tried their best to accommodate us. The chef even created a menu just for us! We travel a lot and often go in high ends hotels, but never had such a welcoming experience like this one. 100 stars! Next time in London we’re definitely staying there!
The hotel was full The room wasn’t clear enough The service in reception was delaying we spent 1 hour for check in For another time I am thinking that is better the small boutique hotels or the luxury apartments they are cheaper then hostess are respecting you and you don’t spend your time for check in or asking . The swimming pool was full of children . So can’t enjoy it.
This is a fantastic hotel right in the centre of Londons west end. The staff are very polite and helpful, drinks and food prices are the cheapest you will find anywhere locally and the rooms, although small are perfectly formed with everything you need and absolutely spotless. Would highly recommend this hotels.
Price was amazing, lovely rooms although small didn't bother me. Tea, coffee, water, TV facilities. Very comfortable bed and a fantastic location right near Holborn Tube station. Much much MUCH better value for money than the other commercial hotels in London and UK (Travelodge and Premier Inn).
I booked this hotel as it’s very near to my office, I loved it! staff unreal couldn’t do enough to help, room service quick & amazing! I will be staying here each time I go to the london office. I felt relaxed & comfortable here. can’t wait to return!
Great location, decent size family room with small kitchenette. Very happy to find a toaster and microwave. Right next door to a pret which was great for breakfast and cheaper than the hotels continental offering. Overall great stay to see London.
Great location - close to the metro and within a 30 minute walk of most of the big must see tourist attractions in London. Room was comfortable, clean and perfect for my jet lag sleep after arriving from Canada. All hotels should be like this!
Such a nice hotel and the location is superb. I normally prefer to book smaller boutique hotels but in London it's really hard to find a good quality hotel at a good price. This hotel is really excellent value for money!
Kensington and Chelsea, London
The situation in London was good. One underground station very near incl. Piccadilly line. Both cheap and not cheap restaurants around. The big museums in walking distance. Many hotels around, too.

Camden, London
Reasonable price, good location, good room size. You get what you pay for, much cheaper than most London hotels.
the bed was comfortable and clean, also it is big comparing to other hotels in london with the same cost.
Our stay was absolutely perfect. Afternoon tea was so special. Cannot fault The Ritz and can't wait to return again soon. thank you Ritz.
