I have stayed in many 5-star hotels and this one, in terms of the room in particular, matches or exceeds them all.
As others have noted, the Art’otel team seem to have though of every little detail in order to make you stay as high quality as possible.
The breakfast is worth a special mention. It’s simply amazing quality. It’s not a buffet, but the three courses will set you up exceptionally well for the day.
Location is also excellent — it’s only a brief 5-minute walk to Old Street station, which will whisk you into central London in a couple of stops. Alternatively, you can take a longer but enjoyable walk down to Liverpool Street station and jump on there, or carry on walking and take yourself into the City.
I could write a lot more about all the little details that make this hotel so impressive, but will stop here and simply urge you to come and see for yourself.
You won’t regret it!

It is possible to reach all the places you may want to see, even on foot. Apart from that, the room had all the facilities and was cleaned and renewed daily. We all went to Battersea park Saturday morning for the park...
We all went to Battersea park Saturday morning for the park run, which was great fun, then to a cafe in Chelsea for breakfast, we then went to Chelsea Town Hall for the Wedding, and to The Phene pub for the recetion, which was also very good, the food and atmosphere were great.
Friday night we went to The Ivy, Chelsea for dinner, which was very nice, lovely atmosphere and the food was good.
Sunday morning we all met at Dishoom, Kings Cross for breakfast, everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.
LNER train back to Westgate Wakefield. A fantastic week-end, and now our son and daughter-in-law head back home to Singapore. Happy days!

I have visited London over 25 times.
I have visited London over 25 times. Love the city and especially staying in Kensington. One recommendation, do not order theatre tickets online before going to London. Very expensive when you can get them locally for much better pricing. Travel around London is very easy if you are not handicapped. Many of the Tube stations have stairs only. When my handicapped husband is with me, we use cabs to get around.

We have been to London about six times over the last twenty...
We have been to London about six times over the last twenty years so much to see in town and nearby. This trip we ventured a little further afield out to Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens and of course Richmond the home of Ted Lasso. All of the Museums are spectacular if you love history and great art. The JMW Turner collection in Tate Britain is not to be missed

As a freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of a Livery Company, I travel 100+ miles to attend official functions and usually stay overnight. 'Z' provides an ideal location for one night stays or the occasional 2/3 nights if we plan a theatre trip as well.

This was my 6th trip to London and I plan to have many more trips. I adore London and could make so many recommendations that I would run out of room. Take time to wander around and see where you end up, every trip I have accidentally ended up seeing events or going to a small, lovely area that I would not have found with a google search. My biggest recommendation that I tell everyone is do NOT overplan. Pick one or two main things to do in an area each day and take the time to explore the whole area so you dont feel rushed to get to another thing. Also, take the public transport instead of tours unless you want the commentary that comes with a tour. You will save money, get to people watch and meet awesome people and its so easy to navigate. If you can, take a day trip out of London to the seaside or some beautiful little village like Canterbury or Dover. London is as expensive or as cheap as you want it to be so its not as impossible as it may seem.

If you are planning a trip to the UK, 4 to 5 days is plenty of time to discover all the main attractions inside London. Once you've seen the highlights of the city, I highly recommend extending your trip to explore Scotland and Wales as well.
The scenery in both regions is magnificent, and the train journey connecting these destinations is smooth, comfortable, and incredibly scenic. Traveling by rail lets you relax while taking in stunning views of the countryside, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves!

From the moment arriving, to the moment we left, the staff (especially the concierge) were so attentive.
This was a special treat for my five year old, a mini adventure to London, and the location to the museums, tube and the park was perfect for us. It was really great value for money, where children eat free and the swimming pool was a great facility.
I occasionally travel to Bloomsbury for work, and struggle to find a decent hotel. I will stay here now, even if it's not right by my office, it's still convenient.

Well maintained hotel, clean, nice little cafe at the front which was not expensive, great breakfast options in an attractive restaurant area, taxis wait outside ready for customers. Everything you tend to want seemed quietly available.
I also liked that they area is a mix of residential and office. Didn’t have the rush and traffic of London.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Dorsett Apartments – an ideal location in Notting Hill, undoubtedly one of the best districts in London.
The studios are perfectly equipped, the beds spacious and comfortable, and the staff among the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever encountered in any London hotel. Every need was met with care and attention.

The hotel is nice and the location have an easy access to London center and Canary Wharf via Elisabeth Line.
Also the access is direct with Heathrow airport via Elisabeth Line, it is needed around one hour.
The breakfast is very good comparing with other hotels in England.
The hotel area is quiet and it is nice for a small walk.
