Hotel in Canary Wharf and Docklands, London
Britannia International Hotel Canary Wharf has spacious rooms and limited free WiFi access in bedrooms, just 1969 feet from Canary Wharf Underground Station. This hotel is perfect for staying in London, but not staying in the hustle of London! It is a very quiet area just outside London! There is a grocery store just a 2 min walk away! The river taxi to London, or Westminster is literally a 5 min walk! Then you have the Tube at Canary Warf also 5 mins away, which will get you anywhere you are going. The Breakfast in the morning is good, and there is also a separate restaurant on site with very good food! The rooms are clean, and very quiet! The pub in the hotel is excellent and not over priced! Happy hour is even better prices! The best part of this hotel are the staff! They are very kind, and helpful. There is one especially great employee. The Pub staff are all great, but one stood out to me. Yojana Thapa is GREAT! She’s funny, kind, very good at her job, and works extremely hard, even when the place gets overly busy as it tends to do when the laborers get off work! She was the highlight of the staff! So in closing I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in the London area! And when you get there stop in and meet Yojana, she’ll put a smile on your face, and serve you very well! Which is very nice especially if you’ve just gotten off a 10 hour flight from the states!

Hotel in Covent Garden, London
Ideally located in London, The Z Hotel Holborn has air-conditioned rooms, a bar, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Was expecting a very budget stay, however, the friendliness and professional attitude of the staff was presently surprising and made the stay much more enjoyable. We booked this hotel as we were going to a day festival and just needed somewhere inexpensive to crash overnight. We arrived a few hours before check-in and the staff happily stored our bags. When we arrived later that night (around midnight) the desk attendant let us in and when I handed over my luggage token I was quickly given my room key, as check-in had already been done for us and my bag had been taken to my room, which was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and it really set this place apart from other budget hotels (such as easy hotel etc). The room was very small and had no windows (as we were expecting) but it was very clean and had everything we needed. I will definitely stay here again if the need arises.

We usually come to London between Christmas and New Year and it’s lovely but this year was extremely busy so we couldn’t do as much. We gave up on madame tussauds even though we prebooked our tickets as the queues were 3hrs long! Instead we got a cab to Covent Garden where we ambled around listening to street opera and magicians which always make it worth going there. This time we visited a restaurant called Tuttons and only waited 10-15 minutes for a table for five so pretty good. Beautiful carpaccio starter but I chose badly the main course and should have kept it Italian! They make some lovely cocktails which I recommend! Cable cars over the river were a thrill as they’re much higher than we imagined. Our accommodation was the Sunborn Yacht Hotel at Canary Wharf which I’ve reviewed also. Fantastic place to stay instead of a normal hotel and will return for a romantic weekend next time, leaving the rest of the family at home 😆. The only way to travel is by cab as they know everything and you rarely get ripped off especially if it’s a real Londoner driving. River taxis are also a great ride for sightseeing and they certainly do move fast. Of course everywhere you go there is something to see especially when it comes to beautiful architecture through the ages. The new Lego store is awesome!!! All in all a great visit.
The hotel overall was good. Room was small but it seems like ALL rooms mostly are limited in space but we were able to move around comfortably. For my first time in London it might have been far from the major tourist areas and it was always a 20 min metro ride but it was walking distance to Notting Hill. The neighborhood its in is really nice and quiet so sleep was great.
There is always something to do for everyone. We didn't know it was Pride weekend so there were so many people in Central areas but everyone was polite. Visit Sky Garden and book a table to eat as this gives you entry without waiting and food is reasonable. Views across the landscape are very good. Walk along the Embankment and people watch, take a picnic into Hyde Park-both do not cost the earth. Not many people wearing masks on the tube which surprised me .Allow extra travelling time if using the tube to go to concerts as they get very busy. Wear comfy shoes as you walk alot!
I enjoyed London and could have stayed longer as there’s lots to see and do. However the stay was limited due to the price of the hotel (expensive for what was provided). London has plenty of places to visit Good transport infrastructure and links We purchased an Oyster card for my daughter which was worthwhile for our stay and enabled us constant access to the underground tube network. Saw pride festival in Piccadilly which was an interesting experience. Enjoyed beautiful food in china town, lots of interesting places to eat if want something different.
The ease of moving around the city was fantastic and the improvement to stations such as London Blackfriars is amazing The terrace of the OXO Tower enjoying a very tasty cocktail was divine. Superbloom at the Tower of London was fantastic and if you want to add a little excitement to your visit, have a go on the slide.
The underground is so easy to get around. The tourist stuff is just far too busy though. You will wait in line to get in and then wait in line again when you're inside things like Tower of London so I'd give them a miss. Walk along the river and stop at the local pubs. Jump on the river bus and check out Greenwhich for cute cafes and head to the observatory for gorgeous views.
Kensington and Chelsea, London
This place deserves a perfect mark 10/10. I am a frequent traveler to London and I stayed in various hotels and apartments and I can say confidently that 130 Queen's gate is among the best and it is a true 5 star property. Location is ideal , facilities are new and modern. Daily room service is complete. Friendly , welcoming ,helpful and smiling faces caring staff are always available to help. Apartment space is adequate . Facility is always kept clean. I will definitely return there if I am in the south Kensington area.
Southwark, London
I booked for the location as an expats returning to London for a visit. There is so much around the hotel in terms of shops, restaurants as well as easy transport links. The room was a great size and really cozy and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Having stayed at a few hotels in this area, I would definitely choose The Native again when returning to London.
We stay at this hotel a lot, as we use it for a base when we go to see a show in London. It is cheaper than the central London hotels. Blackheath Train Station is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel and 15 minute train journey to Charring Cross. The room are comfortable and clean, the staff are all extremely helpful and there is a good choice of food for Breakfast.
I stayed in many hotels in London, this is the best by a mile. Very nice tour at check-in. Fantastic facilities, and a very comfortable room. I admire that they accommodated my request for quiet room (which is not easy in such bustling area). The Conceirge (Dean) was very helpful and responsive throughout my stay (even before I arrived).
Clean, modern in both the public areas and rooms. Considering this is at a Travelodge and Premier Inn budget hotel price-point, this totally blows both of them away for style and delivery. Room was tiny (it is central London) but it was well designed with lots of storage, comfortable bed and small shower but plentiful hot water.
I loved everything about this hotel. It's beautiful in a great neighborhood right next to the Tube and Hyde Park. Rooms are quiet and cheap for London (i hope the rates will not increase as I would love to stay there again). Staff is helpful and nice. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. I wish I stayed longer! :)
The location is good, the rooms have a good size and everything that you need. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good. I've stayed in many hotels in London and for the money you pay you get amazing value on this one. A special thanks to Andreas and his lovely family. 😊
It will be hard to find better value for money in London where budget hotels are claustrophobic. This one had a huge room that was made to be comfortable. The location is prime. The price is cheap for London and especially for staying in Kensington. Overall I am happy.
My wife and I were moving from London for the summer and needed a room for a few nights before departing; the Z Hotel was one of the only reasonably priced hotels during the Jubilee. It was central, cheap and cheerful, nice staff and had a good continental breakfast.
Kensington and Chelsea, London
Used the apartments as a base for our week long holiday in London. Brilliant location, great staff and the accommodation was first class - reckon a hotel would have been a similar price but would have offered significantly less space - felt like a home from home!
Luxurious rooms (a.o. reclining bed), all brand new. Close enough to the underground network and with a good breakfast. I had some dubious experiences with hotels in London, but this one absolutely offers high value for money.
Clean, comfortable bedroom, location was not so bad, modern, TV can connect with Samsung phone so able to watch Neflix or something else, floor heater on bathroom(only), price is cheaper than other hotels in London
Staff are very friendly, location is great and room is convenient.. Bed was comfort and shower is spacious if i compare it with my stay in other hotels in several visits to london.
Location was perfect! Classic look, but clean updated and not dingy like a lot of “classic” hotels! They literally thought of my every possible need. My new go to in London!
The room is small but good! all london hotels room are like that.. The breakfast is good i like the waffles they make and the staffs are great! Wifi is good
So much cheaper than other central London hotels. Very spacious room and all the facilities you need at a basic hotel.
Camden, London
Reasonable price, good location, good room size. You get what you pay for, much cheaper than most London hotels.
Express train from Heathrow to Paddington Room reasonable size for London hotels
It was comfortable and not a bad size room for London hotels.
The service was great The employers are professionals The concierge solved all the requirements Everything was absolutely great
