The hotel is well placed to get to the sights, we wanted to go to the Imperial War Museum and it was just around the corner. The room was fantastic, I thought the trains would be a problem but we could not hear them. The Italian restaurant and the staff great and breakfast was how we expected. I enjoyed the quiet.

London is the most amazing place, with many amazing people and attractions. But it is not a fairy tale city. It is real, and parts of it are gritty. I'm from the UK, and I can tell you that if you have a need, or problem, at a hotel or a station or a venue, ask in a friendly and respectful way and you will be helped 99 times out of a 100. It's a very safe and civilised city, but if the toilet roll paper isn't folded to your exact requirements, just refold it yourself and move on with all the good stuff. Like any country, to a visitor, stuff is different. It helps to accept that fact.

Staying for a single night enabled me to attend an outstanding BBC Symphony Orchestra concert, but the hotel prices in London have escalated to ridiculous levels. I suspect it is not likely to be a place I will visit often or for sustained periods in the future as there are far more competitive locations elsewhere, especially in Germany.

This is one of the most exciting cities in the world.

This is one of the most exciting cities in the world. There are famous places to see, but it helps to reserve tickets in advance. However, a lot of the fun is just walking around, especially along the banks of the Thames. The River Cruise to Greenwich and back is a wonderful way to see the city too. Learn to use the Underground, forget driving. Best place to eat fish and chips: North Sea Restaurant, near Russell Square area.

I lived in Essex in the 1980s so I remember Stratford, Essex from then. It is lovely to see how the area has been re-generated by the legacy of the 2012 Olympics. Queen Elizabeth Park is beautiful. You can walk through it or take a boat ride. Or go up the Arcel-Mittall Orbit tower and come down on it's slide. There is a huge shopping centre if you like shopping and The Line Art Walk which takes you from Stratford through West Ham and via cable car to North Greenwich.

I stay in London for work nearly every week and have been trying out many many different hotels and apartments, but this was by far the best. Really easy to get to, really friendly staff, gorgeous decor and the studio itself was very cool. Fab decor, everything I needed to cook for myself and eat at a proper table! It was also spotless and I could not hear any noise from the other rooms. Oh and the bed was SO comfortable. Nevermind one night...I could happily live there (and the bar was a real bonus).

Hotel is decent, near the Paddington tube station. It's not at all high end, but then it's also far cheaper than higher end hotels, and is still in a relative decent location close to the tube line and railway station. Rooms were quite small, but par for the course in London hotels of this category. Room was cleaned well and we had no complaints with any staff members. Basic hotel, but decent value for the price and good location near Hyde part and transportation services.

Bed & pillows were the comfiest I have ever slept in. Staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good value for money and a lot cheaper than most top end London hotels. THANK YOU for bringing affordable style in a hotel- please continue to take over London with cute stylish hotels like this. It needs it! The hotel was in a good location, about a 10 minute walk to the tube, access to taxis and an easy walk to London CBD. The whole apartment building was beautifully maintained and elegant but our individual apartment needed a few repairs and was not of the same standard. Issues were dealt with by the office as quickly as possible. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable but if you are using the lounge room as a bedroom there is limited room.

I really enjoyed this hotel when I stayed there for three days several days before. I went off to the southwest of England and returned to the Sloane Square Hotel for one night as I had an early flight back to New York. I had an excellent room that overlooked Sloane Square but was very quiet. Great staff at the front desk that warmly welcomed me back to the hotel. This is a "real find" in an excellent location in London. I definitely plan to return.

Beautiful, tiny rooms that are easily accessible to the Earl's Court stop on the Underground. Took less than an hour to get to Heathrow. They also let you check your bags if the rooms aren't ready upon arrival. There are hotels in London that cost the same with amenities such as a swimming pool and laundry facilities but access to public transportation was a huge help.
