There is so much to say about London!!!!! Such a vibrant, colourful, and diverse city. Historic sites, modern buildings, the Thames, shows, hidden gems. Transportation is excellent, underground, buses, tour buses. You can move quickly from one site to another. Lots of eateries to suit all pockets. Couldn’t wish for better shopping, with everyone catered for , from Primark to one off designer shops. The seat of the royal family, with many sites to visit and statues to find. There are many shows to see depending on your taste. I can personally recommend Jersey Boys.
London is a wonderful City .The transport network was excellent and a very tourist friendly City with lots of parks for walks and relaxation. This is an expensive City.So good to budget well , eat a good breakfast and buy a Tourist Travel day pass for all transport and enjoy a lot of the free parks to relax in nature. Have fun at a theatre show and enjoy the exciting atmosphere of London .
Great city, feel royalty and a lot to do in London, much cleaner than NY, I must say especially on the busy streets like Tottenham court/Oxford Circus, Bond street, Piccadilly etc. Overall London is a bit expensive than the US in terms of shopping especially when you convert AED/GBP but the vibes were great, some great food places and most of all some spectacular sight seeing's that a family can do in London, although you need to buy tickets at every place you visit, overall great experience for my First trip to the UK, although I have visited almost 24 countries in the past.
It's crazy that tourists should pay so much for all those (double ) congestion charges. For only one night stay, I paid £ 81 for congestion charges and 1 short night of parking. It's a complete madness nowadays !
Imagining London is unnecessary. We visited traditional destinations - such as the Tower, Tower Bridge, Sky Garden, Westminster Abbey, Greenwich, (unfortunately the Shard was currently closed for repairs). We were pleasantly surprised by Camden Town and Regent's Park. We were here for the first time and the atmosphere of this place absorbed us.
So much to see, probably best to plan ahead to avoid any unnecessary travel on underground if not needed albeit easy to get around by using tap and go on underground- great value £8.10 all day ticket. Visit the V&A museum, free entry, allow a couple of hours if you want to see all of it. Great place to go if raining. Leadenhall market is beautiful, full of character, located right in the middle of the financial area of London. Definitely worth a visit, lovely shops and traditional pub grub. Try taking in a show, so many to choose from, book well in advance though, very popular. Would recommend Les Misérables just around the corner from China Town, Soho.
Kensington and Chelsea, London
Apartments are very nice (newly renovated, I assume), well taken care of and quite spacious by London's standards. The kitchenette has all basic things to prepare simple meals (even salt and pepper were available) and the hotel provides you with a laundry room to use free of cost. Very nice area around the hotel with typical Victorian architecture and lots of small parks (although private ones). 5 min walk to Earl's Court underground, many eateries around it and 5 min to a very big supermarket: Sainsbury's. Totally recommended!
Kensington and Chelsea, London
Exceptional hotel, fabulous apartments, spotless clean and equipped with everything you just need. The welcome package with bread, milk, cookies and coffee/tea was really nice touch. We appreciated very friendly staff and all the facilities. It really exceeded our expectations. The location is just the best in London. It is situated in the central part, but quiet and really not crowded. I highly recommend this property and it will be definitely our stay for the next time in London.
Kensington and Chelsea, London
What we really liked about this hotel is the magnificent design of every single detail from entrance to the rooms design to the other facilities in the hotel. The hotel overall is super clean and taken care of, so when you enter the hotel, you will get the vibes of 5 start hotels and hotel apartments. On top of that, the hotel is located in a very nice area and 5 minutes walk from Undergroung station and sorrownded by all daily needs shops, restaurants and Coffee shops.
Loved the theme of the decor in the hotel and our room. everything was in good shape and functioning well. we had seen some old reviews about the rooms being hot, but the room had air con and the window opened for a good breeze so the room was a great temp. Good location to things we planned to do. The hotel had an elevator which many in London/England do not. overall would definitely stay here again.
Kensington and Chelsea, London
1. The place was perfect for our family. We like to stay in places where there is a lounging/living room area and a kitchen; hence the preference for apartments over hotels. Loved the layout - two floors, entrance per floor, luggage storage under the stairs). 2. Ease of check in and check out. 3. Clean and comfortable. 4. Very responsive support even if not onsite. 5. Location was great.
The best part is the hotel is very safe, we forgot cash in the safe box, and when we went back after the checkout, they gave us the cash and the wallet as it is. Many thanks to the front office manager who kept them in safe hand. The location. Design and overall atmosphere were really good Highly recommend it, and definitely will visit their other hotels in my next travels
The price seemed cheap compared to other hotels near the area (South Kensington, London) and we enjoyed very much our stay. The hotel was nicer than I expected, the lobby is comfortable and large, there is a starbucks inside, vending machine where we bought a convertor. The room we got was an ok size, small but at the same time organized.
One of the best hotels in London. The location of the hotel is close to all the tourist places and markets. You do not need a car, just walk on foot. The reception team is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to mr. Aqil. He was at the height of sophistication in dealing. An experience worth repeating.
The location was great, close to a tube station and Hyde park. Walkable to the Kensington Palace area. The lobby of this hotel is stunningly beautiful! Our bathroom had a bathtub, not something we saw in any other hotels we stayed at in London. Breakfast options were good for a small additional fee.
The location is very convenient with short walking distance to Hyde park and Paddington station. The room was cozy and spacious. Abundant storage area and a safetey box available in the closet for storing valuables. On the cheaper side relative to other hotels in London.
CitizenM is one of the best hotels in London - it's so comfy and wonderful. Also so centrally located. I love staying there and would definitely stay again
rooms are spacious compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in london. have there own car park and parking rates are cheap £12 a day.
I stay in a lot of cheap hotels in London and this one was fine. Room and bathroom was small but as expected.
I stay in a lot of cheap hotels in London and this one was fine. Room and bathroom was small but as expected.
The location is good (though there are other well located hotels in London for this price or cheaper).
Close to the Russel square station. Relatively cheap compared to other hotels in London.
