The Tower Hotel, London, hotel in London

Nestled between the River Thames and St Katherine’s Dock, and next to Tower Bridge, The Tower Hotel, London offers ideal location, a restaurant, a bar and a fitness center.

The location is perfect. Beautiful view of the Tower Bridge. Easy access to all the main London attractions via the Tube or boats. Lots of restaurants on the other side of the river. The room was so nice that we stayed in and ordered room service. This was the second hotel on our trip to London. In hindsight we would have stayed here the whole time, even if it cost a little more.

We enjoyed our weekend to London and despite a few rookie errors on the underground we managed to get around relatively easily! We were staying in the Pimlico area which was great for restaurants so we would return there to eat after spending the day sightseeing. During our stay our favourite trips were to the Tower of London and Battersea Power Station where we went up Lift 101.

Amazing city, culture and attractions well worth the visit, tourist prices were less expensive than we expected but still a lot higher than most northern cities, sights, scenes and shopping and people are all incredible. The London eye and The London aquarium are worth the visit especially booking online with the multi attraction discount. Photo opportunities for both are worth the price

London is a very big place with lots of different cultures. It is a lovely place to stay for a get away break but I would watch yourself for pick pockets or beggers who aren't really homeless. Especially on the Underground and on run down sides of London.

Museums (art, culture, history), parks, river, public transport, theater, dining opportunities. Very easy to get around the city on the Tube and buses. Loved the Imperial War Museum, the Courtauld gallery, and the Tate Modern. Loved walking across the river via various bridges. Walk through Hyde Park. Crowds on the streets and at more popular tourist destinations can be overwhelming. It being such a big city and so overrun with tourists, lots of service people seem, if not outright unfriendly, uninterested in interacting with their customers and clients.

We stayed in the residences element of the hotel and what a welcomed surprise for central London. The apartments were well furnished, spotlessly clean, spacious and having access by both the hotel and externally via a private door was excellent. The doorman (Danny I seem to recall - London guy) is a great asset and ambassador for the hotel and far excelled in his customer focused service - chatty, informative and keen to please.

The hotel is well located, being about halfway between Heathrow airport and the West End. We stayed here for two nights when we arrived in England then went elsewhere for several weeks then returned for a longer stay. We also stayed here last year. It is very close to the train station and has very helpful pleasant staff members. If/when we're next in London we'll certainly consider staying here again.

This is one of those small London hotels converted from apartments. So more a series of rooms than a normal 'hotel'. No dining, bar or leisure facilities. More a 'room for the night'. Rooms are very compact, especially the bathroom but modern and clean and fine for one night. Great location near King's Cross station. Good value for money.
