We stayed for three nights in London.

We stayed for three nights in London. It was the perfect amount of time. Earls’ Quart was a nice area of town to stay in, very convenient! i would suggest a walking tour of downtown to see the major sights and learn more about the city. The tube was very easy to navigate and we took that for all of our transportation.

London is a capital city, and therefore is busy, with lots going on. We specifically went to London for the tennis at Wimbledon, which was amazing. We didnt do much sight seeing, although there are always sights to see in London where ever you go. Had an amazing meal at Scotts in Mayfair, a fabulous fish restaurant and well worth the experience.

London is suffering under the weight of far too many tourists, and it's becoming ruinously expensive. And the air-conditioning hasn't caught up with climate change - it can be very hot and uncomfortable in the summer. If you want to visit, I strongly advise coming off-peak when you are less likely to be forced off the pavement (sidewalk) by hordes of out-of-control teenagers on vacation. Even then you will need a well-stuffed pocketbook, though. Sure the museums are free and public transportation is cheap, but the cost of tourist attractions has become outrageous and theatre ticket prices are nearly at Broadway levels. If you want to do touristy things, you will pay dearly.

Like most big cities, basic things cost way too much, food, drink etc. However the variety is far better than most cities so you get what you effectively go for. We went for Wembley Arena, so that was great, but Wembley itself needs a lot of investment as there is not much else to do there.

The hotel was in a good location, about a 10 minute walk to the tube, access to taxis and an easy walk to London CBD. The whole apartment building was beautifully maintained and elegant but our individual apartment needed a few repairs and was not of the same standard. Issues were dealt with by the office as quickly as possible. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable but if you are using the lounge room as a bedroom there is limited room.

Very comfortable and clean, great staff.Rooms need abit more updating, no saving mirror in the bathroom, no mirror on the office desk to do your hair and make-up so had to either stand up in the bathroom or sit on the floor by the wardrobe. It would have been a good idea to have a hotel channel on the TV to promote all the hotels facilities, restaurant, breakfast, hire cars and what London has to offer.

This hotel is two doors away from Aldgate tube! Ten minutes walk to the Tower of London. Spittlefields incredible markets are ten minutes away. The hotel is beautiful and clean and new. Staff were incredibly helpful. They gave me wine as it was my birthday. They stored our bags when we checked out. It was also cheaper than other hotels of a similar standard.

Location, price, cleanliness is a big one! I've stayed in the cheaper hotels in London and they have been horrible. This is the execption. Keep up the cleanliness and fair price. I will keep coming back. Great for lone travellers, maybe a couple of friends in town for a show or concert. I probably wouldn't stay here for a holiday with my family.
