London is a multi-ethnic and monumental metropolis but also very young and fun. I recommend taking time to walk and rest in its beautiful parks and have a good beer in its many pubs. There are many attractions not to be missed or you deliberately choose to postpone some visits as an excuse to return. At least once you should try to take a trip out of town to visit Windsor Castle, Stradford upon Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace) and Stoneage. Don't forget to visit Notting Hill, Covent Garden and the colorful Cadmen Town.

London is a great place in the summer.

London is a great place in the summer. Sunlight hours are extended till around 9:30 pm The temperatures vary due various frontal systems that move in and move out. So pack an umbrella. London is famous for its parks and museums Hyde Park being one of the more popular ones The other being Kensington gardens , that being adjacent to HydePark. Another park is Holland park all very accessible by London transport buses and the games underground ( tube). Also a lot of museams like the Victoria and Albert museum and the Natural History Museum ( both entry free) Don’t forget to bust a local Pub for a real pub dinner or a Sunday roast and their famous fish and chips. If shopping is something that is on your list of things to do then head to Oxford street where you will find all the major brands and also don’t miss a visit to iconic Selfridges famous for shopping under one roof ( important when it rains) The other place ito shop at is Harrods of London in Knightsbridge Also spend sometime to have a brunch or Ho tea at one of their restaurants. Another major shopping destination are the Westfield malls that have all shopping ,food and entertainment under one roof. Last but not least the Theater district with all the plays , musicals and comedy shows to your full.Dont forget to to include a meal in China town and try out their Peking duck If you have never been to London, then it surely should be on your list. Can be expensive, but if you book early and shop around , you can have a choice of 5 star hotels , serviced apartments and hostels for backpackers and family accommodation on a budget

It wasn't my first time in London but I noticed that the crime rate has gone up significantly. Stay away from the central area as much as you can since there is a lot of pickpocketing and robbery. My phone got pickpocket in Primemark the day I arrived and there were two more people reporting pickpocketing with me at the store! The staff was quite used to such incidents. Apparently, it is a common practice in London. The centre was also extremely crowded. I heard police sirens thoghout the nights. I wouldn't go to London again unless I really have to. The rest of Britain is much nicer such as Cambridge or York.

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. We picked this hotel as it was considerably cheaper than similar hotels in Central London. We felt like we made a good choice, you reach central London in no-time with the Thameslink and the station is literally just around the corner. The staff was very friendly as well. Greenwich itself was also cozy and there were some nice restaurants around. There was also a good supermarkt nearby. If we would go to London again, we would stay here again :)

We loved the location, great value for money and the apartments give you extra facilities. The staff were all really nice and friendly and breakfast was great. We would definitely stay again, hotels in London are notoriously small roomed and expensive so the space and location were great value and some lovely touches (potion making was fab, white company toiletries and nice bedding and towels)

London is a lottery for accommodation… there’s a big difference between the good and not do good! Presidential Apartments is a high quality hotel that delivers on its promises. It’s very well managed with friendly and courteous staff at checkin and the rooms are rather large( on London standards) and are beautifully furnished with extremely comfortable beds.

its close to everywhere that you need to be, simple hotel but nice. Easy to find and good price. Stayed in many hotels in London and yes you can get some cheaper ones but then sometime you need to get a taxi as they are further out so we would rather pay a little bit more for a nicer hotel and somewhere more central
