Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Hotels That Guests Love in London
  • The hostel is actually for those under 40 - but they let me stay :) The vibe is really youthful and I liked it a lot. Staff are backpackers themselves - so they know what a backpacker needs!

  • I have stayed here several times while in London for work. The hostel doesn't appeal greatly to the young backpacker crowd so I always get a good sleep in the relaxing environment. Super clean, great staff and fantastic location.

  • The price was right for a family of five to share one room. We like the vibe from the youth hostel.

  • All round good youth hostel

  • When you see this stately home you are going to be impressed! It is for the high society only, is it? Usually, that is about correct and prices are accordingly. Via Lewisham is a youth hostel and backpacker place in a mansion. There are all modern amenities inside. Also the rooms are modern and equipped to purpose. I particularly liked the backgarden with the lavish green. If that is not enough you might wander in the park adjacent and relax. The setting is rural and tranquil!
