We liked the breakfasts, although we had to ask for butter, jelly, and cream for coffee. The desk and room staff were friendly and helpful, and most of the dining staff. We especially liked the location near the port, in the heart of St John’s.

Hermitage Bay was exactly what my wife and I were looking for in a vacation. This is a very quiet, private resort. We were looking for solitude and quiet. We were thrilled. If you are looking for nightlife or happy hour experiences, this place is not for you. For example, we introduced ourselves to one couple during our ten day stay.

Roads and open sewers are terrible. Radcliffe Quay is interesting. Ana's is great location, and reasonable prices. 1st Choice has much variety and deli food is excellent and great value. Difficult getting around St John's due to bad road conditions, with washed out sides, speed bumps and open sewers. You need to know your way around.

This stay was total 11 nights moved from other room for 4-night studio.
All units are privately owned so no two are alike, meaning furnishings and bath and kitchen updates are all different. If I was alone, I would have had to request a step ladder as everything in kitchen was too high up to reach. MICROWAVE in a cabinet above the fridge set back??? ALL in all, decent room a little pricy in my opinion for off season. The staff was very friendly. Location allows you a nice beach walk either direction. A few restaurants nearby. You do need to be aware next to Sandals so it can be a little loud in the afternoon. Many many beautiful beaches would need transportation. Driving is not for the faint of heart.
We did drive in order to experience the Island fully. Oh, and great snorkeling!!

Beautiful area. Island can be rough in many areas.
Beautiful area. Island can be rough in many areas. Resort is good for families, with lots of choices for restaurants and bars. Grocer is VERY expensive. Would recommend a golf cart or car for transportation around the resort, as it is very spacious. Resort is dated and needs updating. Each villa is different, so depends on the luck of the draw.

It is just a city, so half a day is enough.
It is just a city, so half a day is enough. Just explore the area around. Good places to eat in the Redcliffe Quay. Also, if you want to safely park a car there is a big parking lot (paid) right there. We tried to park a car on the street but the policeman told us that it is not allowed. Worth visiting the cathedral and the quays. Also, go on a biking/kayaking/ hiking tour organized by company who had an office next to the ice-cream/waffle place at the Redcliffe Quay. Great fun!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really lovely pool and a real community feel amongst the guests. We really liked the location of the hotel; we were close to St John where there are lots of lovely restaurants, but it was still quiet and peaceful. A lot of the best beaches were the other side of the island, however it only took 40 minutes to get from one end to the other, so if you rent a car this is really not a problem.
The location was excellent for my American university of Antigua and the hotel is located in upscale neighborhood and very safe
the hotel has an excellent view to sea / ocean and also has a private beach. This setting is almost similar to any other upscale beach
The manager Tiziana was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make the stay very comfortable and provided lots of information about the island to get us moving
The hotel had an amazing ambiance, great pool, on the beach, there are several restaurants walking distance so no need to drive for every meal. Enough beach chairs and umbrellas for the guests. It had a water basket next to each apartment to wash the feet before going in that was a great touch. Very family friendly. Had a little supermarket next to the reception. The big supermarket is 4 min drive. Plenty of parking.
From the moment you check in until the moment you check out is pure relaxation. you can be as busy as you want or just float in your plunge pool, they have it all. the food was excellent and changed every day. I was always excited to see what the chef was making especially for dessert. My words cannot describe how wonderful this hotel and its staff are. We will definitely go back in the future.
A huge clean apartment on the ground floor The breakfast and dinners were delicious and more than satisfying. You eat in a private area, a balcony overlooking everything.
Our conversations with Donna were great too.
Without a doubt the best place I have ever stayed in Antigua!
It was for only one night, bit I know for sure that we will return
Perfect location on its small but safe scenic and sandy beach. Plenty of comfortable loungers. Adjacent beaches and restaurant if you need them. Serene and private garden with a nice pool. Up-to-date efficient comfortable rooms. Compact and cozy ambience. Bars and restaurants perfectly located on the beach for sunset.
The hotel is a true beauty, situated in a location that's hard to beat. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the restaurant manager's kindness every morning during breakfast, and the hot tub bar staff were equally friendly and attentive.
The staff were AWESOME!!!! As in all other reviews, the staff made the place and my stay. Very pleasant, accommodating. The young lady at the bar finally warmed up to me on my last day, lol. Damon, the food and beverage manager and all his staff were the best!
The location was convenient. You can walk to the grocery store and many food places. Eko Cozy Guest House everything you need on site including laundry service and rental cars. Prince the owner is very accommodating and treats you like family. I highly recommend.
I love the village we stayed in. The access to the pool, the patio where my family gather and had memories and food. We loved the amount of sunlight that vines through the window every morning. Property workers are friendly. Overall, great location.
Authentic huts in a lush tropical garden right next to one of the best beaches on the island. Loved the private patio, the private canopy bed on the beach and the outdoor shower. The staff is exeptionally nice and caters to every wish.
Antigua Village is a wonderful location on Dickinson Bay. There are sun loungers available around the site and on the beach for some use of their customers. very well kept gardens and views of the Carribean Sea.
The hotel is downtown, right next to the cruise ship port. Lots of restaurants, banks, tour operators and shopping nearby. Short five minute walk to the harbour for water activities.
amazing beach and staff. keyona service is impeccable. the front desk crew were some of the best I ever encountered. shout out to our girl from Trinidad!!
