Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is a few blocks away from the main street, but it is one of the most steepest street in Ushuaia.
Laundry bleached our clothes and the room was a little bit noisy.
The staff was nice and very helpfull
The bad was poor, the bathroom small and not clean, many stairs, no elevator. For 2 hours of late chack out they asked 1/2 dayly price. The owner was't nice and kind.
Staff is great, place is really nice with good view. Fair location
The Staff were great, Carlos is a really nice guy and welcomed me in a very professional and friendly manner!
My room, "C" had an odor from the sewage. The neighborhood dogs bark a lot at night, but you get used to it.
Staff are nice and helpful. The panorama view from the roof to the town is fantastic. The room is clean and comfortable. The cat is cute.
Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, underfloor heating was nice. Tea and coffee in the room was nice.
Room didn't feel completely clean, floor was sticky for the whole 4 days we were there. Shower alternated between boiling hot and freezing cold. Manager was a bit rude.
Very helpful staff, all the tours booked from reception. Hotel pretty basic but has all you need
Located a bit up the hill - might be difficult for older tourists to come back from dinner
My family and I stayed at Rosa de los Vientos for three days and we spent a very good time there in a 4 bed room.
The heating system in the room had no temperature control which make us feel a little bit uncomfortable due to the high temperature.
Super nice, helpful staff and owners. English and Spanish speaking. Free private, safe parking in front of the hotel. Very nice atmosphere overall. Very much worth the short walk up the hill.
Nice staffs, a little up hill but good location.
Quiet, very clean and comfortable. We spent extra nights as a result. Kettle in the room is always a nice bonus. The walk up the hill is no problem unless you are physically compromised. If you have trouble then you shouldn't be considering hiking further north. Great view from the top floor. Would stay here again.
A very pleasant, home feeling, and the forest backyard is quite cool!
it's quite a hike from downtown, as it's all uphill. but you're rewarded with a nice view of Ushuaia
Friendly staff, value for money.
The big hill we had to walk up to get there from the town area. Catch a cab.
Small, cosy hotel at a reasonable room rate.
Our room was under the main dining area and was extremely hot due to floor heating from above and below.
Very friendly place. Offered to organise taxi for transfer on arrival in Ushuaia. Breakfast was lovely and unrushed. Rooms clean and comfy with great enclosed room at top of house with panoramic view of city and its surrounds. In residential area so nice and quiet in evening.
Not a criticism but guests should be prepared to walk a little up Ushuaia's hills to get to the hotel.
Very friendly staff. Hostel had a nice ambience. Dining area very nice.
Good place to stay. The staff was helpfull, they solved any issue that we had with our room. A nice thing is the top floor, where is a bellview point. Wifi was ok.
It is more like a family house than a hotel. Pretty poor breakfast.
Our room near the reception area and breakfast room was very noisy - other guests with loud voices coming home very late at night, and leaving early in the morning. Very steep walk up the hill to hotel from town.
Pretty place, charming informal and arty atmosphere
I can recommend this hosteria to anyone. I myself chose it by internet recommendation. We requested a quiet room with a view and we got it. The mountains and the evening lights of the town are really enchanting. The hosteria has a personal touch and it is artistic in the best sense. The staff speaks English and all are helpful. It is close to downtown but the access road is quite steep. There is no elevator in the hosteria so one has to climb one or two flights.
One had to get used to the taps of the shower / stand at the side while turning it on.
- the rooms were nicely decorated - the breakfast room was cosy and breakfast was very good - cool view point on top floor
- steep walk uphill to get to the hotel
Everything was perfect, thx.
Very pleasant staff. Really warm welcome makes you feel more like at home rather than hotel. Rooms are simple but very clean and nicely furnished as it was indeed my own room. All in all it really has that kind of personal touch, which makes it so different from staying in so many places ranging from home-run hotels and guesthouses to even high-end venues. Pablo, if you are reading this, please accept my warmest wishes and another Thank You for one of the most pleasant stays in Argentina.
The breakfast was very good, and the staff treated our every request promptly and with respect.
We had twin beds, which were smallish. If my 6-foot-2 husband had been with me, his feet would have been hanging over the end of the bed.
We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful Breakfast was not too bad, actually included some clod cuts, fresh fruit, cake, etc. Nice view from our room. Would stay here again in a second. It is a bit of a hike back up to the hotel, but we never took a taxi and actually enjoyed it.
Not important to us, but to those who NEED wifi, perhaps it was a little jumpy. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
