All the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a good Ushuaia experience. Coffee and tea provided in the room and staff will provide extra plates and cutlery if you want to self cater. A nice friendly atmosphere. Walk up the hill provided much need exercise after eating and drinking so much.
location, daytime staff, house
dogs all over Ushuaia, especially the neighbour house dog barked the whole night w/o reason. I had to put my mattress in the bathroom. Staff not willing to help or helpless. Next night we talked to the neighbours ourselves. Hotel compensated inconvenience on departure
The staff are extremely nice and helpful, and made our stay a great one. It's a good and comfortable stay in town and most recommended if you are willing to stay in a more of a hostelish kind of place than a hotel .
Like most of the small places in Argentina it's quite overpriced and the value for money is quite minimal. We were in a room meant for 4 people in the lower floor, so we heard everything going on in the lobby - thin walls. The wifi was almost non existent for us in the room, in the lobby it was quite poor as well. The hotel is placed on the top of a hill so walking to the Main Street and back is quite irritating as the hike is quite annoying. However most hotels suffer from the same issue . The breakfast is the same every morning .
very helpful manager
scruffy neighbourhood - like most of ushuaia
friendly staff free breakfast charming lobby cozy room
Breakfast buffet was available - not too big, but quite good. Lovely view on the town from the "tower"room. If yoo book, be prepared to go uphill some meters... Owner is very friendly and helpful.
The price is - as everywhere in Ushuaia - somewhat too high for the given service.
It was a lovely family run home/hotel. Great views, warm and friendly. Excellent value for money
Maintenance needed doing, cold water tap not working in the bedroom, fridge not working in bedroom.
Pablo, the owner, and the staff were very friendly, the room was confortable and the hotel is close to the city centre. The breakfast was simple but delicious. They had local types of cakes, bread, and regional fruits, We had a very good time there.
Nothing. Everything was fine.
staff extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect room and comfortable bed.
Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is a few blocks away from the main street, but it is one of the most steepest street in Ushuaia.
Laundry bleached our clothes and the room was a little bit noisy.
The staff was nice and very helpfull
The bad was poor, the bathroom small and not clean, many stairs, no elevator. For 2 hours of late chack out they asked 1/2 dayly price. The owner was't nice and kind.
Staff is great, place is really nice with good view. Fair location
The Staff were great, Carlos is a really nice guy and welcomed me in a very professional and friendly manner!
My room, "C" had an odor from the sewage. The neighborhood dogs bark a lot at night, but you get used to it.
Staff are nice and helpful. The panorama view from the roof to the town is fantastic. The room is clean and comfortable. The cat is cute.
Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, underfloor heating was nice. Tea and coffee in the room was nice.
Room didn't feel completely clean, floor was sticky for the whole 4 days we were there. Shower alternated between boiling hot and freezing cold. Manager was a bit rude.
Very helpful staff, all the tours booked from reception. Hotel pretty basic but has all you need
Located a bit up the hill - might be difficult for older tourists to come back from dinner
My family and I stayed at Rosa de los Vientos for three days and we spent a very good time there in a 4 bed room.
The heating system in the room had no temperature control which make us feel a little bit uncomfortable due to the high temperature.
Super nice, helpful staff and owners. English and Spanish speaking. Free private, safe parking in front of the hotel. Very nice atmosphere overall. Very much worth the short walk up the hill.
Nice staffs, a little up hill but good location.
Quiet, very clean and comfortable. We spent extra nights as a result. Kettle in the room is always a nice bonus. The walk up the hill is no problem unless you are physically compromised. If you have trouble then you shouldn't be considering hiking further north. Great view from the top floor. Would stay here again.
A very pleasant, home feeling, and the forest backyard is quite cool!
it's quite a hike from downtown, as it's all uphill. but you're rewarded with a nice view of Ushuaia
Friendly staff, value for money.
The big hill we had to walk up to get there from the town area. Catch a cab.
Small, cosy hotel at a reasonable room rate.
Our room was under the main dining area and was extremely hot due to floor heating from above and below.
Very friendly place. Offered to organise taxi for transfer on arrival in Ushuaia. Breakfast was lovely and unrushed. Rooms clean and comfy with great enclosed room at top of house with panoramic view of city and its surrounds. In residential area so nice and quiet in evening.
Not a criticism but guests should be prepared to walk a little up Ushuaia's hills to get to the hotel.
Very friendly staff. Hostel had a nice ambience. Dining area very nice.
