Three bdrm apartment was superb, spacious and comfortable. Within walking distance to Hastings Street. Fantastic helpful staff. All mod cons in unit. Terrific holiday atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and go again.
Nothing to dislike
The walk to Hastings, the tranquility, the pool, the staff
Not enough light in rooms, I couldn't turn off air con in rooms and now I'm sick with a cold!!
Scenery was fantastic views of the beach and of the national park. Spa bath in room was really lovely and breakfast was gorgeous. Also thought the golf buggy down the hill is a fantastic idea.
Some little things were a bit niggly as it's a luxury hotel. Old lipstick stains on the glasses in the room, beds were so hard and two twins pushed together was a little dissappointing. The walk up the hills not great on a night and the golf buggy stops at ten.
We liked the size of the room they allocated and also that we were far enough away from other people. Like the View too and the fact that breakfast was included. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. I had a broken toe and they came down to Noosa to pick us up in the gold buggy in the pouring rain, after we had been to a wedding.
The pillows. They were rather uncomfortable and hard. We did not sleep very well. Also the first night there we had no bath mat which meant that the bathroom floor became very wet and slippery. We got one the second night.
Newness and cleanliness
Its a big big resort
The resort is quiet and relaxed. No road noise. Staff are friendly and ready to please. Room was a really good size and well appointed. Breakfast was great although some variety day to day would be good. Chefs did a great job with cooking eggs to order!
Room was a bit shady and dark (we were forest facing). Perhaps this was our choice of room, but we would have preferred a sunny balcony. Buggy transport could start at 6.30pm in the evening rather than 7pm. We would often go to dinner before 7. Buggy call point at gate should have an intercom rather than having to phone. Change the coffee brand in the restaurant (sorry, but it was terrible!)
Close to Hastings St but quiet Proximity to rainforest Breakfast included in our price Very helpful and pleasant staff
Apartment a bit dark because we were facing the rainforest. Needs brighter lighting. The resort is over-developed in my opinion.
Excellent staff Great room with spa in bathroom Excellent amenities
Having to walk down to Hastings Street. Long way in to resort via back streets.
Breakfast, room space, car parking, facilities.
Quiet, clean and friendly
Over inflated NOOSA prices
Spacious room with rainforest view. Reception staff very helpful. Facilities of highest standard.
It is a large resort with a number of separate accommodation blocks so it can feel a bit impersonal.
Interior decorating of apartments is nice.
Apartments are very close together, complex feels very crowded. Small pool which results in a lot of noise for apartments above. Restaurant has design like interior, but feels somewhat cold. Compared to other locations I have stayed in on the QLD coast I think price -quality ratio is off given the location.
Great location, 5 star breakfast, comfortable bed. Secure parking -plenty of space.
Very expensive room service desert ($17.50 pp) and my sticky date pudding had no sauce, was small and very average.
I liked where the resort was up on a quiet hill nice pool hotel style room was very large and clean
was only there to sleep was bit hard to find apartments
The room, we had the ational park veiw was stunning, had everything you needed in the room including washing machine and dryer, the spa bath was amazing, the tv in the bedroom, the conveinent car parking, the amazing veiw walking around the resort, the huge buffett breakfast, how close it was to the main st of noosa, the buggy service,
The bed was a bit hard, and the pool bar was closed and so was the bottleshop and conveinice store
Apartment type accommodation was brilliant. Short walk from Hastings st and beach.
No free WiFi! This is not acceptable in this day and age for a hotel at this level. View from our room was terrible - it was of main hotel road and reception so not private at all. And there was a conference on at the time so no other rooms available. From what I understand most rooms have bad views so don't stay for view.
I found the staff very inviting, the rooms were spacious and well laid out. It's about 700m to Hasting St, but I enjoyed the walk
Our iron was rusty and leaked over my white work clothes. Our room didn't get any sun because of the aspect and shade from the garden.
Loved the room layout and location
Ticked all the boxes for me . Gym am could do with a few more weight machines
I hadn't $30 breakfast on my first morning but everything was cold, very disappointing so for the remainder of my stay I had to go down to Hastings St for breakfast
Location was excellent, only a short 5 minute walk down the hill to Hastings Street (the courtesy buggy was also great although we preferred to walk most of the time). I'm 6 months pregnant and the walk was manageable but perhaps would be a bit more difficult in warmer weather or with a pram. Our room was a Budget Room and was excellent value for money. Although the budget room is unserviced, it was spacious, clean and fairly quiet (ground floor, bedroom at rear, lounge and terrace facing the private road). Extra towels were always available from reception. We were happy to enjoy eating out for breakfast around Noosa. The resort was particularly quiet and relaxing being off season.
Our room was accessed via a private stairway which was fine but would not be suitable for someone with a pram. The lap pool wasn't open and the infinity pool was not accessible to all guests - this information wasn't made available to guests prior to or at check-in. The main pool was in a great sunny spot but could get overcrowded during busier periods.
Our family really liked the close proximity to Hastings Street. We also found the staff very obliging and professional from the kitchen staff to the housekeeping staff. The buggy service to Hastings Street is brilliant and very convenient. Overall we as a family would definetly recommend the Outrigger to other families
Poor gym - no weights
Liked the spaciousness of the room, adjoining balcony area for private drinks at sundown. The bathroom design was excellent & the room quiet & comfortable with good amenities close by.
Would have liked an in-room espresso coffee machine or at least have espresso available at View restaurant for breakfast.
