A very vibrant city with a rich history.
A very vibrant city with a rich history. The Old City is such a piece of art. The traffic is a bit pain and to get around to near by areas its recommended to walk rather than hailing a cab. To feel and absorb the real beauty of the city can only be done on the long walks this city deserves. The overall city is extremely safe. The food has a lot of variety but its definitely not among the best in the world.

Basically they need to learn how to treat tourist, stop their stupid scaming which ruins the whole experience of Baku.
Its beautiful but a small city, had been enough with just 4 days. The cultural food is not a big deal so dont visit because of the food! Be careful with the hotels showing you updated pictures that does not match with reality! specially breakfast items.

4 nights in Baku seemed just right.
4 nights in Baku seemed just right. The city has lots of surprises. Once I got there, I understood why the city has been described as the "lovechild of Paris and Dubai." It is full off amazing contrasts. It is an elegant city in parts, and quite futuristic in others. Some of the modern architecture is extrordinary. Prices are low and food is awesome. I'm really glad that I chose to call in on Baku.

First of all the weather was soo lovely on April with temperature of 20 in the morning and 16 in the evening.
Baku is a lively city.. Nizami Street is full of energy from morning till next day morning.. There are many places to visit such as malls, gardens, museums.. From my point of view spending 2 to 3 days in baku are enough..
There are many restaurants such as Indian, Korean, japanies, Italian and many other along with the traditional food of Azerbaijan. Visiting the other cities such as Guba, Qabala, Shiki, Shahdag.. Spending one day in each city is enough.
The transportation in Baku is very easy.. With an application called ( Bolt) you can go every where with very low cost.
The visa card is accepted every where.. It's more safe than caring cash.
I advised the travelers to choose a hotel near Nizami street because it's very close to all the needed spots.
A very beautiful, clean, stylish and modern hotel within the city centre of Baku in walking distance to the old town and Baku Bulevar. Location is great (10 minutes walk to the old town, 20-30 minutes drive to the airport). Many restaurants and shops around. Very decent breakfast with different options every day. The room is clean and well-equipped, the bathroom is great and also very clean. Staff are extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Spent only 2 nights there but it was always a pleasure to come back to the hotel.
Staff were more than friendly and helpful.. always smiling and polite .. they also provided us with all information needed and helped us getting a taxi back to the airport on time - location is perfect. Close to nizami st and to baku old city - 2 mins walk from supermarket and 24/7 bank were you can exchange currency with good rate - for smokers there is a terrace for smoking on the same floor so you dont have to go all the way down to hotel entrance -wifi was good
Hotel staff especially Bayram and Turan are so courteous, welcoming and friendly. Bayram helped us to book Uber twice. Hotel is spacious and very close to city center. It's just 15 minutes walk to Nezami street old Baku. Hotel is surrounded by nice local and international restaurants mainly fast food. However, you may find plenty of restaurants in Nezami street.
Breakfast was so delicious especially loved Azarbaijan cake.
It's an incredible place to stay, As a solo traveller i definitely recommend this place. Especially staff are really helpful in all ways. The main benefit of this property is it's located in city centre where you can cover Nizami street, Old Baku, Highland park, Bolvard park. It's completely travel sustainable,💞✌️
Lastly a heartful thanks for Manager MR. Fuad for giving tips to travel (according to my budget ✌️)
The man with the glasses (forgot his name) at the reception desk was awesome. Apart from the wonderful room I got and the sea view, the treatment at this hotel was the best part of it. I'm definitely coming back to this hotel. One more thing, good and affordable restaurants are just walking distance, as well as the Old City and the Caspian Sea. The metro station is a 2-minute walk away from the hotel.
The rooms are so clean and neat, the smell is great, and the bathroom is very well designed and clean.
Absolutely one of the best hotels in baku, the staff is the best i’ve ever dealt with, specially Rana and Ramal we needed help several times and they never hesitated to help us in a fast professional way. Also the General Manager Steve was very keen and kind with us.
Room service is great.
staff are so nice and helpful. If you have any requests or problems, they take care of you immediately. When you ask for things like towels, they bring them right away. housekeeper lady was so nice. hotel is very central. When you leave the hotel and walk straight ahead, there is a beautiful library. (Baku book centers are amazing.) Then, in 10 minutes you reach the old city.
Very nice hotel.
The rooms are big and has any thing inside them, the hotel staff is very nice and will help you with any will that you may have.
The hotel it locate on top of the city so you have the best view of the city 😃
It a bit far from the center compre to other hotels, but the "Bolt" taxi app is very cheap, so it change nothing.
Worte any $$
Special thanks to Elgun
The hotel is in an excellent location. We arrived very late in the night but the staff were very supportive and sorted out the room very quickly. The family room was very compact but comfortable for a family of 4. Overall a great stay. The location is a walking distance from almost everything you would need to experience Baku Old city. Recommended for family stay.
The room is clean and well-equipped. Wi-fi works without any problems. The staff is friendly and not annoying. There are some groceries and mobile shops nearby. A little bit far from the city centre, but it's not an issue as public transport always available in time (several bus stops in 3-5 minutes from the hotel) and the taxi services are quite cheap.
Happily stayed at this hotel several days in Baku. The staff is very friendly & helpfull. The location is great,The hotel is very nice. Located in city centre, close both to modern buildings and to the old city. Breakfast is delicious and varied. Value for money. All in all a great place to stay!
Merchant location was awesome: steps from Old City, Nazimi St. and Baku Blvd. Breakfast was delicious and staff very attentive. I loved sitting in the beautiful Atrium/Bar area every morning as well as afternoon/evening tea. My room was very quiet and well appointed. Lovely hotel.
City Park Hotel Baku. Being close to the center is one of the best aspects of this hotel. Friendly receptionist and manager Salim did everything for our comfort. I will definitely stay in this hotel when I come to Baku. Thank you for your attention to me and my family!!!
The hotel was the best one we lived in Baku. The breakfast was excellent and overall the stay was nice. As compared with others s here the beach was much, much better. The only thing is that location is quite far from the city center. Anyway highly recommended.
The room is comfortable and beautiful.
The hotel staff was nice and helpful.
The breakfast is delicious and there is many options. The hotel restaurants is very good and the hotel location is the best in Baku old City.
Unbeatable location (inside Nizami street), walkable distance to most of the popular destinations inside Baku city. Live at night. Hotel and location is safe for a family. Breakfast was okay. Value for money.
I liked everything. The hotel is wonderful, as well as the staff.Location is right in the city centre. You can find various food near the hotel.Old city and the well known Baku promenade is 2 minutes to reach!
It was my third time in this hotel and it was a great find after new unsuccessful experiences in Baku.
Very authentic in the center of the city with amazing staff. Best place to stay in Baku.
