The historic sights are well worth visiting (e.g. Narekli Fortress, Botanic Gardens, Holy Trinity church) plus the numerous art galleries and museums (e.g. the Wine Museum, Open Air, Art Palace, History and Museum of Illusions etc). Old Town eating is fine - along Erekeli Street near Bridge of Peace. The city is as safe as houses all day long - ignore stuff about 'protests' - the police in Tbilisi are everywhere and very polite and helpful to tourists.

Great city for a short or longer trip as a tourist.
Great city for a short or longer trip as a tourist. Old city and Botanical garden are good places to visit. Traditional Georgian cuisine is great with khinkali, Khachapuri and other dishes and of course with great tasty wines. Be mindful of checks at the cafes and restaurants as they might give you wrong checks (with higher total). I checked with google translate and was surprised with the higher amount but waiters changed it upon my request.

Fascinating history all withing a short walk, providing you stay in the Old Town hotels, plus a bohemian feel which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Two cable car rides and a funicular trip up to Mother Georgia's statue and The Mtatsminda Park are both worth doing too.

Decent for a city break of say 2-3 full days.
Decent for a city break of say 2-3 full days. Museums fine and people friendly, but not many 'outstanding' features. The fort was being renovated so unable to access and the Old Town, was falling down in many places, its not quaint, just under developed and needs a lot of money spent on it. The pub streets were very noisy and expensive compared to other city areas. Very walkable though.

Comfy place with large rooms on Kakheti highway, from which you can catch bus #337 across the street to go to the airport or catch a bus into Tbilisi center from right in front of the hotel. It's on the bottom floor of an old "massif" apartment block, but the rooms are relatively modern.Varketli metro is close and that area is very ative with shops, restaurants and activity. Actually I've been in Tbilisi for five moths and it is the most active area I've seen yet with non touristy modern Georgian life7
A wonderful hotel where we found the perfect combination of tranquility and proximity to the city center. Conveniently located, with shops and a cozy café serving delicious Georgian food nearby. We were particularly pleased with the hospitable and attentive host. The breakfast here is tasty and filling. We will definitely come back again!
I like the hotel, they are very nice, environment is neat and quiet. Good communication, nice staffs, their services are top notch. Breakfast at the hotel is very delicious. I will like to visit the hotel whenever I go back to Georgia.
Nice hotel, staff and environment ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Great Location. Walking distance to discover center of Tbilisi. Very helpful, communicative and smiling staff which is rare in Georgia! Very comfy beds. Lovely interior design of the hotel. Free on street parking right next to hotel. Decent breakfast selection.
Friendliest and best hotel I stayed in Georgia, I extended my stay 2 times!
It is perfectly located in walking distance to the old town (<5min) and you have a great view over the city and the synagogue from the balcony!
Will definitely come back again.
