Beautiful city next to the Caspian sea with nice walking boulevard next to the sea. Lively city with plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs. The old city is part of UNESCO heritage sites and is worthwhile the visit.

A very vibrant city with a rich history. The Old City is such a piece of art. The traffic is a bit pain and to get around to near by areas its recommended to walk rather than hailing a cab. To feel and absorb the real beauty of the city can only be done on the long walks this city deserves. The overall city is extremely safe. Basically they need to learn how to treat tourist, stop their stupid scaming which ruins the whole experience of Baku. Its beautiful but a small city, had been enough with just 4 days. The cultural food is not a big deal so dont visit because of the food! Be careful with the hotels showing you updated pictures that does not match with reality! specially breakfast items.

The hotel owners are friendly and super helpful. We liked the place so much that we canceled our booking in another hotel in Nizami street and stayed in Sazeli for our full stay in Baku. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples and families with older kids.
