The place in the city center, breakfast the staff, the quality of the beds
There is no air-condition; we like a cool bedroom so we slept with the windows open; don't do this when you have a bedroom on the frontsite! Until 4 in the morning the people make noises coming out of the pubs and at 6 in the morning the traffic starts with loading the pubs and restaurants etc.
Staff, location, room good size. Nothing too much trouble for this family run hotel.
There is on electric pot, no tea, and no coffee in the room.
Service was seconded to none, very clean, always willing to help, breakfast was fantastic, as was the dinning room and garden, would highly recommend the Hotel.
NOT A THING !!!!!
Location, close to everything in the center of Brugge. Very Good Breakfast
Room relatively small, and austere. Bathroom uncomfortable, with a hand-shower (??) and a sliding door, really not acceptable for a 3star claimed hotel. Overall, it offers poor value.
Excellent location, room comfortable, host could not have been more helpful.
carrying large case up spiral staircase
Character of building, location, staff, price
The location is very good. It is about 5 minutes walk to city centre.
No elevator and no assistance to carry our bags. Had to carry them myself up 2 stories using the un-ergonomic stairs with tiny steps. It was almost dangerous. The room was at the second floor at the roof. Although it was claimed to be a 4 beds room, there was almost no space to walk in the room. Due to the roof, I could also hardly stand right. Price is really high for the facility provided. I guess it is due to the location.
Very good location. Friendly staff. Beautiful room and public area.
The incredibly noisy people in the room above us.
Personal, friendly service, lovely breakfast, great location. Great room for family of 4. Room was well set up and equipped. Bathroom was well configured. Everything was clean and welcoming.
Slightly over priced !
clean and tidy old world decor
no spare pillows no fan in room parking no tea and coffee facilities in room
My family and I absolutely loved staying here last week:) We couldn't fault anything! The owners were so helpful and polite. The breakfasts were amazing and we were very impressed with the variety and also how quickly everything was replenished so everyone always had plenty to eat! The music in the background was very relaxing and a lovely added touch. The room was spacious and plenty big enough for my husband, our 2 daughters(15 & 21) and myself. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom a good size. The hotel was in a perfect location as quiet and just a very short walk from the Market Square where lots of attractions were. This is a fantastic hotel and we all had a wonderful holiday here, so thank you:) We would definitely love to stay there again!
Location is excellent.
The bedroom was small. The mattress was worn out with a dip in the middle. Pillow was uncomfortable. Being on the ground floor, it was too loud to sleep with an open window. Price too expensive for a 3star hotel. Very disappointment.
The hotel was spotless and also had a great breakfast. Very nice patio area to sit and read or eat breakfast in. Only drawback, no air, but provided a nice fan. Highly recommend.
Not welcome ed exspendive for kind of service
Clean and organize
The proprietor is not very friendly
Owner was friendly. Great location.
Very warm in room. No proper door ( concertina) to bathroom. No hair dryer or coffee making equipment. Very steep stairs with narrow tread.
Beautiful decoration inside the hotel, clean room, breakfast area with a small garden, good breakfast, the gentleman of the front desk is helpful and polite. Close to the city center, it only took us 5 mins to walk to the city center. Very beautiful city.
Very friendly personal service. Felt more like a house guest than a hotel customer.Excellent central location. Clean. Quiet. Parking available.
Breakfast was great Location perfect
No air con in room
The hotel although being an older building as in most of central Bruges, was remarkably smart and very clean. The owner checked us in on arrival and saw us off on departure and he couldn't have been more helpful as with the rest of the staff. The breakfast area is beautiful and a lovely place to have breakfast, especially with the classical music in the background. Wifi was very good, the room was very comfortable and close to all the attractions. Our stay was definitely a very good experience and would certainly stay there again.
I did read in a review that the stairs at the back of the building were steep and they are to a point but that is just the style and period of the building. No big deal unless you have difficulties with stairs. The only small negative (mentioned in another review) was the hand held shower head. Had not seen this at a hotel before but again not unmanageable.
Lovely breakfast and convinient location.
