I would definitely recommend this place if you are travelling to or from charleroi airpot. It is like 5 mins taxi ride from airport. For a budget hotel you will get what you need.

This is a cozy family run hotel very well suited for families with Children. Abdul is a gracious host who likes to spoil children( in a good way :)) He is very apolite, helpful and fluent in many langauges. we like everything about the hotel; the rooms, the host and the breakfast.

Very friendly owner, helpful. This place is nice value for money and if you prefer a special place and person touch, it could be a right choice. The snooker table and room are impressive, just as the Napoleon collection.
Set a 10-minute drive from Brussels South Charleroi Airport in the charming village of Fleurus, the ibis Charleroi Aéroport offers functional accommodations and a bar.

The hotel was clean and modern and the beds were comfy.
Nice little town with good food in the centre. We enter a random boulangerie with restaurant and it was great with lots of vegan and very delicious options but with a great non vegan variety as well. It’s a pity I do not remember the name of the place…

It felt very unsafe, even for Sunday, in the city center. We haven't seen any police or other public servants anywhere, the city is filled with people of all types and mainly poor people asking for money. Also, you could smell weed everywhere and rubbish. Broken bottles on the sidewalk, urine smell and a bad feel about the whole place. This is the city center. The whole impression is of a decaying city, unsafe and not that tourist friendly. Will probably never return.

the city is under construction works (obviously to have a better face in the future) but it doesn't seem the safest place to wonder on the streets..a lot of digging and broken streets due to the renovation works in the whole city..i wouldn't spend more than a day here

The town is well located for day trips to Bruxelles, Brugge and Luxembourg. Town itself has many little cafés and restaurants as well as popular chains. A nice warm shopping mall in the center. Extensive redevelopment going on everywhere (railway station and road junctions). Palais de Beaux Arts seemed firmly closed when I visited (a Saturday in January) despite many posters advertising it. I will come back, but when it's warmer.

We had stayed in Charleroi many years ago, and found big changes. The bus Station at Charleroi Sud (now known as Charleroi Central is now very big) and is still under construction. Once finished the area will be lovely. There are lots of competitively priced accommodations to choose from. The public transport system is excellent from trams to buses to trains. Everyone is very friendly and going at Christmas was special. A couple of Christmas markets to see and the ice rink looked good fun. Since we last visited - several years ago - a shopping centre has been opened which has many shops to visit. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas - was lovely and warm and catered for everyone. I would say don’t use use Charleroi for passing through, spend at least a day and enjoy what it has to offer. We are locally and found the food very good and varied.
Sweet Home is a wonderful option for those who decided to explore this wonderful country and is arriving at Charleroi Airport. The house is quiet and the rooms are very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the room had everything stated on this site including a kettle, some coffee and tea, etc. But I would like to send my special greetings and gratitude to the amazing host of Sweet Home, dear Frenande, who took great care of me and helped me with many things. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again soon!!
Fantastic location, minutes away from the station making it easy to get to get to the airport, Brussels, bruge, Ghent, Antwerp and anywhere else you like!!
The price was spot on, very much a budget hotel and you shouldn’t be expecting anything else. For the price it was spot on, although there was not kettle or tea of coffee. Like in other 3 stars. Not an issue for me!
The centre of Charleroi is undergoing major investment so there are a lot of works during the day, and in 18 months this whole place will feel very different!!
We arrived by car after dinner time, and there was ample parking space. The staff at the reception made the check-in process go quickly and smoothly. They arranged a parking space for our car and a transfer for two people to and from Charleroi Airport for the next morning for a fixed amount of 50 euros (maximum 10 days of parking). The room was big enough and equipped with all the necessary items for a one-night stay before taking the airplane.
The main advantage of the hotel is the distance to airport and prices. They can organize a shuttle, which transfers you to the airport within 5-6 minutes; moreover - it came realy "just in time". Next bright point is the personnel - friendly, competent and spoken in 2-3 languages. Excelent beer (Jupiter) from the keg - you can get it at the reception desk (together with a very interesting conversation).
I only stayed one night as I went there because I had to catch a plane the next morning at the Charleroi south airport.
Excellent hostel. Rooms were spotless and clean. Beds were comfortable. Social area was large. I had to catch an extra early flight but they still had snacks I could take and eat because I was leaving before breakfast. Very close to the shuttle bus to get to the airport. Great Hostel
The apartment is very close to Charleroi airport. There is an excellent restaurant 5 minutes away in Heppignies which we loved. We arrived at the airport in the afternoon and wanted to rest before our trip the next day and for that it was perfect. The thoughtful host provided shampoo and shower gel. Everything is new and well-maintained. The internet works. Parking is right in front. All was good.
the owner is one of thee kindest persons we have ever met. He did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He treats the hotel as his home and you feel like you are a guest in his home.
The location is close to Charleroi airport and it is perfect for your stay before or after your flight from there.
We are Dutch and booked a RyanAir-flight from Brussels-South/Charleroi. The day before we stayed at the castle. Highly recommended! Philippe brought us to the airport (6 min. drive) and picked us up. Our car stayed at the hotel. We will return. :-)
Breakfast was really good!
It is a good accommodation if you need to stay one night as close to the airport as possible. The old house that was recently renovated, but not durable. I don't think the solutions chosen for the renovation will last. Free parking. Very close to the Charleroi Airport.
The location was excelent, closes to Charleroi Brussels South Airport. The breakfast had good fresh food and you could enjoy freshly squeezed orange juice. Room was quite and bed conformable too. The breakfast was served from 4:30 in the morning for early flight I had.
Comfortable hotel at normal distance from Charleroi airport. Stress free departure, as it is written at the hotel. Excellent for stay before early morning departure. You can go to the airport by foot and the way is marked with arrows and says the remaining distance.
Clean, quiet, and comfortable hotel located a short drive from Charleroi Airport (CRL). Staff were incredibly attentive, helpful and kind, with plenty of communication and local recommendations. Transfer between the airport and hotel (both directions) was included.
The host is AWESOME. He came to Charleroi Airport to pick up as and take back early morning the next day, offering a small breakfast. Also offered a dinner despite late arrival. Confortable beds. 100% recommended
-Staff was friendly and very helpful.
-Breakfast was a bit pricy but quite nice and quiet
-Rooms were quiet and functional.
-Very close to the Charleroi airport where I had my business trip.
Friendly and helpful team. Big rooms. Great shower. This hotel is a great place to stay near Charleroi airport. We enjoyed shopping & dining at the RIve Gauche Mall adjacent to the hotel too.
