Patricia and Edgardo are excellent hosts. They took care from our arrival to the day of our check out. Every day they gave us recomendations about the places we should see, talked with us about the city and the people and there life. We followed their restaurant reco‘s and were very pleased.

Gostoso is a small, not fancy town, but for that is has a big variety of very nice and good restaurants. We were very surprised by that. The beach is amazingly long and wide, perfect for long walks, riding and driving around with a beach buggy. Big fun! Perfect windsurf and kite spot. There was a Musical Festival with live bands playing and nice beach bars. The people are very friendly and it is Safe to walk around town at night. What is really nice that there are no big hotels, no ugly, big buildings, there are small pusadas only, which is so pretty when you walk along the beach, which is mostly very empty too.

Beautiful beaches. Lots of pousadas to choose from. Great prices in August (out-of-season for Brazilians). Easy to find a pousada within walking distance of downtown (where the restaurants are). The town is noisier that it used to be; too many motorcycles and dune buggies run along the beach at sunset, but it is quiet most of the time. The waves on the shore are just right, not too strong, but lively enough to have fun in.
