The location was fine, the ourdoor charming, there is a charming spot nearby where we were able to get a good breakfast. I might recommend the location, but inform of the drawbacks.
The comfort was minimal, the TV small (sound not very good), there were a lot of dead gnats in the bathtub...
Close to highway but very quiet, shops nearby (bakery/pub, pharmacy), air conditioning, quiet yard, pet-friendly
Rooms somewhat small, could use a bit of updating.
Liked location, clean rooms, quite and comfortable areaa and good parking
Location is good, convenient for visiting the West Island
Smell in room was very strong. The room was ok but I thought quite expensive for what you get.
Based on where the location was, and the scenery. It was amazing value. I really liked the old woods feel of it and the tiny village of beaconsfield so close by.
The internet connection was crap. When I went to check in, the receptionist was speaking to someone on the phone. He handed me a key for my room and told me he would call me in the room when he could check me in. It took almost an hour. Then upon checkout, we wanted to get an early start to the day, but we couldn't check out until after 9am, and no one would answer the after hours buzzer. We had to come back to check out. It was inconvenient.
Brilliant beds - very comfortable. Good towels and sheets. Rooms were large. Good bathroom facilities
Rooms were dark Walls very thin - if the neighbouring room was occupied you could hear everything. Needed decorating
Location of motel in a nice neighborhood. Working TV.
Paying in advance. Luck of info on Internet password in a room. Dangerous threshold in a suite. Snow not well shoveled.
Very clean and well maintained
Except for the bedding. Skimpy sheets and pillows, bedspread and really old extra blanket gave me the creeps.
Well equipped kitchenette wi-fi tv Green surroundings
After a day I realized that we can spend only two nights in Beaconsfield and asked George the receptionist to credit the third night back to my credit card. He said that he does not know how to do it. This forced me to contest a part of the payment with my credit card company.
Room although generally clean, needed far better cleaning. Hair throughout bathroom and dirt along shower. Just didn't get a sense of being clean. Price was way too high. For that price I can get a downtown Toronto Marriott hotel for cheaper. Sorry.
