Spacious facilities,a very pretty garden and a comfortable bed.
Dining at The Grill was disappointing, quite expensive and ordinary.
Excellent staff service.
Wi-fi is not included in the room rate, which is unheard of in 2014 in other parts of the world.
professional stuffs, fabulous restaurants, a comfortable room
The bed was too soft for me but I am very fussy about a mattress so not big deal
Luxury in a fantastic location.
The location and the staff was great. Good recommendations for restaurants and activities. Very nice room-liked the fireplace. Breakfast was very good and convenient.

Cost for wifi
The staff were top notch and very accommodating. The room was very nice and good views.
Bathroom door in suite didn't lock. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant downstairs should go a little later.
Staff and facilities
Bed was too hard
st.aff, pool facilities, quietness, overall grandness of the hotel
Restaurant a little disapointing but service was great. Bed looked a bit messy with funny bedskirt. Dated tub.
What I liked most about your hotel was the welcoming we received at arrival by staff and also upon departure. Everyone was so supportive to make us feel at home, which is very exceptional given the size if the hotel!
More activities or tours could be organized through the hotel.
Amazing setting, excellent service, predictable quality every time. Valet service is excellent and so helpful.
Quietness in hotel though lots of guests coming helpful staff
Paid parking No free wi-fi Gym location, unideal(passing through hot tubs) Vending machines not regularly checked on supply availability
i love fairmont they always give free upgrade when available
parking fees is very expensive
Lovely hotel - nice character even in the summer! Staff very helpful - reasonable value for money. Would entertain going back
Was holiday weekend so really quite busy
I have always loved this hotel, the service is impeccable, We received turndown bed service waters, newspapers in the morning and even chocolate pistachio dipped strawberries upon arrival due to it being our anniversary with a lovely card from the hotel manager. Daily food from the portobello restaurant at the hotel is incredible value and the pastries, sandwiches and pizzas are absolutely delicious. They even had london fog tea for my dear friend and the hotel has a great high tea that our good friends couldn't stop raving about! The mallard lounge fireside at night is great too! Live music, dancing and drinks. The fairmont Whistler has always been my top pick in Whistler. A lot of amenities and a dynamic classic hotel!
The rooms need updating as they tend to feel more like an older Sherriton hotel other than a Fairmont. But the bed is wonderful, the amenities and the pool are spectacular! Worth sacrificing with the rooms to enjoy all of the amenities.
Great location, great facilities, knowledgeable front desk staff
Walls seemed to not have good sound barrier, loud and noisy neighboring guests
I liked the pool the spa and weight room and how close it was to the village.
The poorest quility looking room Iv ever seen , looked and felt like I was in a cheap motel , majorly overpriced rooms for the quility and noisy machins running all night . Could hear neighbors through the walls , no real veiw , just big trees but paid for a veiw of the mountains . Payed parking way over priced . Bed unconfertable and springs squick , no water at all in rooms for drinking , I'd never come back or recommend , I'd discourage people from staying here .
Its upper village, which is quieter than the lower village. They give excellent service, very friendly and trained very well to make you feel comfortable. I would definitley come back.
We are a couple in our 70's and wanted to relax. Upon arrival they asked if I wanted to park the car for 35 dollars a night or Valet service for 39 dollars. There is a shuttle to the lower village so I figured I would not need the car. They did not say it was a first come, first serve type of lot. after much driving in circles there was not enough spots to park, so I drove back and took the valet sevice. When I went to check in they said the room was not close to the elevator, like that was a plus. The room was 692 which was a very long walk from the elevator to the room. I need exercise, but did not want it from walking from my room to the elevator several times a day. I complained at the desk stating the above to them and thay were very nice to give me a room close to the elevator and charging me 35 dollars, rather than the 39 dollars. Bottom line they accomdated me, which is what I would expect from a Hotel in this category.
We stayed at the hotel over the Ironman weekend and it was in everyway great. Go there if you can :)
Nice Pool, dog friendly, nice staff
High pet fees ($50/night) High cost of parking - even self park in 'low season' Little food choices nearby in summer midweek
the customer service
Beautiful property, room etc. Nice lounge with excellent service.
Crazily expensive surcharge for Wifi. We also stayed at the Delta in Whistler, where they charged nothing.
location staff cleanliness comfort
Nice location, good service, staff very friendly and helpful
we checked in, walked in the room, washing hands and the drain was clocked, the sink was full of hair and other things showing up, not very nice
Beautiful grounds, architecture and service.
I regret not checking out the pool. Parking is $35 a night. I saw parking at $8 per day at the main village, but didn't confirm if that included overnight parking.
