A good place to stop if making a long journey to or from Whitehorse or Alaska. There is a large grocery store and many hotels to choose from. The Alaska hwy goes right through town with 50 street N and S on either side. GPS wasn't accurate for addresses so check the numbers and whether you are North or South when you get to town.

The pub by A&W had really good food.
The pub by A&W had really good food. The public swimming pool was really nice. The rock climbing wall over the pool was neat as well as the really big water slide. Such a big pool and great water temperature.

I was very pleased with our room - a jacuzzi suite that was a great size and quiet. We stayed two nights to rest from our long travels and it was very comfortable for hanging out.
We covered 2,200 miles on our total trip and Muriel's service (front desk) and pretty BIG SMILE was the best of so many hotels we stayed in. She was great for her job of accommodating all of our needs with a lovely smile and happy to help us. Wonderful Muriel, thank you!
We like the visitor center and the museum in Fort Nelson. The food at the RV park was the only food that was okay, other places not at all. We'd avoid Boston Pizza on our next visit. Deb and Dan
The room was a good size and the walls were well sound proofed! I did not hear the family that was staying beside me. The AC worked very well so it was comfortable! Hotel was located walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. I also had an issue with the TV and someone came to fix it really fast (TV was new-ish, it was weird and a simple unplug/plug fixed it - not a hotel problem). Also loved the free coffee in the morning in the lobby!!
Big comfortable room and it was quiet. They were very easy to work with. I had to change my date of stay and they took care of it without a glitch. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is great. You can't miss it. After a very long drive, it was nice to get to a big, comfortable room with a kitchenette. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again. And! They are pet friendly.
The hotel room was immaculate! Everything modern, perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. Quality of linens, furnishings, and kitchenette were good, bed and pillows comfortable. Quiet room, couldn't hear the neighbours, friendly staff, quick elevator. We've been traveling for 30 days and this was the best accommodation all around, and very well priced. Felt very comfortable here, would highly recommend.
everything was great! the staff is very friendly. Check in was very easy even though I made it very late!
great value of your money for this great room, comfortable and modern. I loved the coffee maker! this is definitely the best place in all my journey from north to south of Canada! thank you!!
Everything was good, I loved the fact they have a local cable set top box in the room that had a interactive guide, much better than the scrolling guide you usually see in hotels. Rooms were clean and quiet and the AC unit kept the room very cool on those hot days.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious at restaurant. And there is a full liquor store attached to hotel. Even though you are North on the Alaska Highway this place has no rough edges. It was excellent.
I always enjoy the Wyndham breakfast. Great selection. Staff were very friendly. Honestly a lot of Ft Nelson hotels are not great - just good enough to sleep in for a night traveling through. This was actually a nice hotel.
This is the very best lodging on the Alaskan hiway. It is the caliber of hotel you hope to find and the price is less than what you get charged for rundown broken rooms in Dawson Creek and Watson Lake.
This is a straightforward, comfortable hotel with your basic amenities. There is not much else in the area and I found this to be adequate and comfortable for a hot shower and a good night's sleep.
It was a nice hotel, very calm and quiet for my stay, I was just traveling through Canada and they made my stay very accommodating and comfy which I sure appreciate it. Loved Boston Pizza too.
