Cozy room overlooking the lake, very clean and smelled clean when I came in. Owners were lovely when I checked in. The bathroom was also very nice.
There was only 2 restaurants that had good food. The Iron Clay Coffee House and The Log Cabin Tavern were the two restaurants with excellent food.
The other restaurants we went to were below par with their food preparation. No wonder some of the restaurants go out of business.
The Hungry Pug restaurant, 901 Westside, and Ho Jo’s food preparation and quality of food was below par. Not good at all.

This is a wonderful place to visit, especially in the summer but year round. Lots to do, the lake is grand, people friendly. Good variety of places to eat and drink.
As the hotel had no food outlet we got our breakfasts at Tim Hortons and enjoyed the little drive. Lots of hilly roads which could be exciting or terrifying but all paved and fairly clear visibility. Winter could be tricky driving off the main streets!
I would avoid booking late - and don't go if you book at last minute in the summer - don't settle for poor accommodations. Wait until there are lots of options. Consider a Bed and Breakfast if hotels not readily available. May cost more but likely more reliable and attractive.

I'm originally from Kenora, so I go to visit my family (and Lake of the Woods) as often as possible. This was a wonderful, restful, clean, right-in-the-middle of Keewatin/Kenora hotel. My whole family was happy to stay here.

It is an awesome town.
It is an awesome town. Beautiful views of Lake of the Woods and an easy place to walk everywhere from the hotel. They have a great walking/cycling path right across the hotel. Excellent town for water activities and a great fishing spot. You can also spot wildlife right in town. Some nice shops are worth visiting and a few good restaurants like The Boathouse and Lake Of The Woods Brewery which has it's own beers brewed on the spot and a nice restaurant on site too.

Because of this hotel and staff, Kenora has left a bad impression with me. I have nicknamed it the BLACKHOLE! I share this information with everyone I know. Message is: STAY AWAY from this blackhole of a place!
Location- great- up on a hill, away from right downtown. Felt safe and secure and just rebooked to stay there on our drive home.
The breakfast room was closed, other than coffee and hot chocolates (anytime) but they gave everyone a bag lunch in the morning- yogurt, granola bar, breakfast sandwich (which we could microwave in the room) and a bottle of water.
The carpets were freshly cleaned- everything was great- will definitely stay there again and recommend it as a great to stay in Kenora
The hotel had a large sitting area as well as a bedroom area . Lots of space. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker ( French press) and fresh ground coffee beans. Shower very nice. Renovated bathroom.
Sitting area had a couch, coffee table and a table for eating with two chairs
Good Chinese restaurant attached. Brought food to the room … it is Covid times.
Bed conformance. Staff very nice.
Kenora a lovely town.
The inn is right on HWY 17 which is less than 10 mins away from Kenora. The scenery is pretty. There is a cute fountain & seating area with a fire pit and BBQ behind the building. There is a beach nearby with a play structure. Staff are friendly. Room was cozy and it was a bonus having our own entrance. It was also quiet.
The towels in the bathroom smelled like bleach which means they’re clean.
Breakfast was excellent and with variety of choices, staff are so friendly and very helpful, room are so clean and i saw how they clean the room when we are passing by and they clean every corner of the room even the wall trust me lol,we’ve been in all hotel in town of kenora and super 8 was the best i don’t usually comment but i guess they deserve this.
The Inn is in a quiet location, just outside of Kenora. You can walk down to a small Beach and park. The Chinese restaurant for take out serves excellent meals which are delivered to your room. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
The location to downtown Kenora and establishments was very convenient. Room was very clean and comfortable. It would be a great location for multiple day stay. Nicole was very helpful recommending restaurants
and attraction.
A burst creek flooding the parking lot greeted us. The room smelled like a million cigarettes, the bed was nasty, the room was old and run down and all for a whopping $198/night. The worse hotel I've stayed in.
Property was extremely clean and modern. Rooms recently renovated and were extremely comfortable. Parking looked safe and secure. Staff were great. Will stay here again for sure next time we pass through Kenora
Room had broken toilet holder. No cups for coffee. No ice in hotel . Sticky floor in entrance. Garbage bin overflowing in breakfast room. However the fellow at the front desk was very kind and helpful.
The room was very cozy.
The decor made us feel at home. Even has real plants!
The owners/managers are very friendly and clearly have their guests comfort at heart. Definitely a must if staying in Kenora.
Loved my room. Tasteful, beautifully set up with the wall unit giving privacy to the bedroom area. Two TV's'! Rooms were quiet, large, with a bit of an Asian overtone which I love.
Not a chain motel..
The staff is nice and friendly, the beds are comfortable and a walk through the town after a long drive is a great way to wind down. Kenora seems like an enchanting place.
Location was great, bed comfy, suite clean! Restaurants and stores walking distance! Outdoor pool area clean and inviting, with chairs for relaxing and suntanning!
