comfortable, clean and location
Bed was very comfortable
Poooor breakfast, everythings feels old
The hotel is only 15 minutes walk to Old Montreal. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was excellent.
The surrounding neighbourhood is slightly seedy
My sister and I compared this hotel to a "hidden gem"! With friendly staff, modern facilities, non-smoking, breakfast included, it's the best value for a great stay in Montreal! Will definitely return!
Although located on a bit of a desolate street, my sister and I felt safe and secure traveling together. May be a bit unnerving if traveling solo.
Location and kitchen facility
Extra charges on room modification.
Spacious room. Centrally located near old Montreal and central library. Interior of the hotel was nice Pleasent staff Complementary breakfast
My first impression by the exterior of the building was no good. I think there must have been done some touch ups to the Building concret and this was not finished yet. Once inside it was really nice and clean hotel .
there is no away in parking , you shroud go out said after parking yore car also the bed is not conformable
An older but extremely clean and well run hotel. The staff were excellent and the morning breakfast was superb.o
Roadworks going on in street in front of hotel. Very inconvenient and took away what would have been a lovely entrance.
Great Beds Large Room Excellent Staff Service
Nearly Impossible to Find (the first time)
I stay last Saturday and the staff it was very friendly and I check out sep 14 and I got the most friendly and professional lady very sweet black woman I would like to say thanks for her good service
We loved the hotel being inside the walk of the old city , didn't need car there at all. Great brekky (included) ..very friendly host (esp Emily)...charm of accom was great ...plus parking includes ,big plus
There was nothing to not like . Thanks for a great / pleasant stay Ken&Narelle ,qld australia
friendly staff, beautiful room and bathroom. Breakfast was excellent including eggs, sausages, baked beans and everything else.
The air conditioner needed some work but they took note of this when we reported it.
good location, friendly staff, free breakfast, in room kitchenette, wi-fi, convenient location near metro, reasonable parking rates underground - everything you need for a short or long stay in Montreal.
I like the location. Breakfast was great. Service was excellent.
Mattress and pillows were not very good. I'm not sure of what size bed was in the room. Small for a queen. Parking was awful. My car bumper got scratched while exiting. Turns we're too sharp and the hill was too steep. Could see. Should have been another option. Nothing else was suggested and there were no warning.
Being so much in the heart of things. The cooking facilities. The breakfasts
Just a bit edgy at night time on the adjacent streets. High level of homeless people and a lot of begging - quite a shock to see that in Canada.
Free Breakfast, friendly staff, location is very close to subway.
I would like a nightstand with a light on both sides of the bed, otherwise I have no complaints.
60 second walk to Berri-UQAM underground where all lines meet
Centrally located. Breakfast is very rich. Staff is very friendly. Number bus 747 is going form airport to Berri Uqam bus station every 9 minutes. Ticket is 10 dollars for 24 hours. Hotel is close to the Berri Uqam station that takes only five minutes by walking. Famous shopping street Sainth Catherine is near at hotel.
Housekeeping came to room for cleaning after 3 pm.
location, staff friendliness
breakfast buffet - repetitive and bland internet/wifi - slow sometimes
Close to St. Catherine Street and old Montreal
Staff could have been a bit more welcoming
Location was great, suite was roomy and clean, kitchen was nice to have with kids. We loved walking down st catherines street and through the village, as well as through old montreal.
Breakfast was ok - nice to have a hot breakfast - but the same every day. Front desk guy who checked us in was officious and borderline rude.
Location and is close to Metro station and restaurants, shops, bars are walking distance. Very nice.
The mattress is too soft to sleep
Comfy, HUGE room with kitchen and "living area." Clean and nice. Short walk to jazz fest.
My friends and I recently stayed here on a 5 day trip to Montreal. The room was very spacious, had a nice sized kichenette which made making our own food very easy and convenient. It's a 30 second walk from the main metro hub, which will save you lots time in terms of traveling to many places if you are there for sightseeing. Room was thoroughly cleaned every day, no complaints. Staff was very helpful and patient in terms of pointing us in the right direction and answering any questions as well as giving us recommendations. A very good room with great service for an amazing price. I would definitely stay again.
My only complaints would have to be the parking garage, it was very tight and difficult to navigate even in my small car; however, I was glad to have private parking. My other complaint would have to be the actual street the hotel is located on. It's on a bit of a sketchy street although all the others surrounding it seem fine. Even so, they have good security measures with someone always at the front desk and guests needing a key to open even the main hotel doors past a certain time of night.
Half a block away from the best parts of St. Catherine's St, and only a short walk away from old Montreal. Complimentary breakfast in the morning is good quality food. Facilities in the hotel itself are just ok, but for the location, tough to beat the price. Probably an excellent place during off-peak seasons if you want a fair price without the risk that you'll end up in a dump. The kitchenette in the room is a nice feature.
